Okay- I am a new golfer, so this review is based on that information. Watch out for the driving range balls coming over on the first two tees, and then when getting to the third tee, you must go through a lot of broken concrete, so beware. This was the first full hole of golf I had ever played, so Saddlebrook will be a great memory in my heart. I have played many times since and still will come back here. This course is maintained; I would not say it is the best course I have ever played and that they keep it immaculate, but it is a great course to get in and out of. That being said, we have been slowed so many times here. I understand that it is a public type course, but there have been times when no carts are available for your tee time, and that should never happen. The play can be slow and I have not seen anyone doing anything to move it along. We are not all great golfers (well, some are), but we know how to play fast. I learned that at Saddlebrook, I also wish everyone else would play in that manner. Bathrooms are decent, drinks are available, and the carts are good. Port-a-potty was available in the back 9.

As a newbie to golf, this was one of my first times at a golf course, and the first "full" course I've been to in Indy. I've been to par 3 courses but they are much shorter of course. I went after work and had previously set a Tee time. I believe after 4pm they reduce the price per person to I want to say $25. The clubhouse is small but does the trick. You can purchase balls, tees, etc. They also have a full bar and what looks like a small kitchen/grill. The holes have plenty of difficult spots which helps since the course is not that vast with sand bunkers, hills and I felt like a lot of water (maybe that's a me problem). I can see how it could get very busy on a weekend but would recommend for day/evening week day holes!

For those who live in downtown Indianapolis like myself, this is a solid course not too far away that offers is a pretty solid experience for the price tag associated with a round. The course is generally more open than not, which helps for players like myself who tend to miss the fairway off the tee. My only complaint is sometimes it plays slow on the weekends, and they do not do a good job of taking care of the bunkers. They are always dried out, missing sand, and hard to play out of. It's like hitting off a hard surface.

Narrow course but in really good condition! Lots of trees and some creeks that go across fairways-but it balances by being a shorter course. Good selection available at the club house for food and drink. Reasonably priced too!

I give this "golf club" 0 stars. Course is in terrible shape with no signs of improvement in the future. I will never spend another dime at this junk hole for driving range balls. I counted 10+ cracked balls in their already overpriced small range bag. Which is half the bag essentially. Do not recommend. Go somewhere else if you want a good golf experience.

I played in a fundraiser outing in the pouring rain last week. After nine holes my shirt was soaked and came into the clubhouse to try and dry it off to no avail. I saw a shirt on the rack and asked how much it was and Ty said I could just have it. What a kind gesture! They treated us so well and I will be back to play there again!

Good course and the fairways are well maintained. Lots of holes with water make for some challenging holes.

Course is in decent shape, lot of dead grass on the tee boxes and throughout the course but it has been quite hot. I've been coming here for about a year or so and I've been not wanting to come back more and more everytime I play here. The beer price went from about $16 to $20 for a 6 pack and if they are gonna charge $20 for a 6 pack they should atleast give it to you in a cooler. But no, you get a plastic bag with your beer and some ice in it. If you like to drink beer while you golf, I'd recommend going elsewhere. Overall, staff is friendly and course is decent but the price to play is just as outrageous as the beer price.

Really like Saddlebrook Golf course but their range balls are overpriced for the small amount you get. Called late in 2021 in the Fall and they were asking $20 to walk 9 holes. When I questioned why so much the young man said that was always the price which it wasn't since I had played there many times. Wish they were were more affordable for me but there are other courses just as nice or nicer at a cheaper price.

The course is great for what you pay. Since it was closed for a few years I'm sure that another 1 or 2 years will put it in even better shape. It's affordable for memberships as well, much much cheaper than other nearby courses. Cheap beer in the clubhouse, pace of play is pretty good. The back 9 is mostly short narrow par 4's so not a lot of driver off the tee. But still 25-40 bucks for 18 is a bargain for this course. Hopeful it continues to improve.
