Visited as part of the "Red Line Pub Crawl." I would otherwise never have thought of going to this establishment, I'm glad we did. The servers and bar staff were friendly and very accommodating, pushing three tables together quickly to allow our large group of 10 to sit together. We ordered Nega Modelos, Coronas, Diet Cokes, and margaritas. I had a margarita which was pre-made and very sweet. It was served in a plastic salt-rimmed cup with lime, which was fine. We then ordered three different tacos to share with the group. The menu was on a dry erase board and all in Spanish. We had a Spanish speaker with us which helped, however, we could have gotten by speaking only in English with the servers however it would have been more challenging for sure. The atmosphere was festive and Hispanic upbeat music played pretty loudly in the restaurant/bar area. We were still able to talk and have conversations over the music so it was not too loud. I had an al Pastor taco, which was delicious! I also had a steak taco, topped with lots of chopped onion and cilantro, it was okay, but I prefer the al pastor much more. Everything was served on plastic plates with plastic silverware, very budget-friendly as well, downright cheap!! I have traveled to Central America, Nicaragua specifically and I found myself saying more than once while we were there: "This place is totally legit and authentic!" I would for sure think about going back to grab a quick taco or two but I would stick to a beer vs. a house margarita. Don't let the name of the place scare you off, they were very friendly and gave us plenty of "Latin Flavor!"

Great Caldo de Res on Sunday and the home made corn tortillas are amazing. Caldo came full of meat with a side of rice and a piece of corn. Gotta have a piece of corn in any Caldo. Meal with 2 beers came out to $23.

We stopped in for a bite to eat on a Friday afternoon. The place was clean and festive, though the music was rather loud. The fried tacos were fabulous! The owner was our bartender and server. He was pleasant and service was good. His English was good, but I enjoyed getting to practice my Spanish! Even though we live on the north side of town, we plan to go back for dinner soon.
