Awesome venue very rustic and quiet to meet your friends and family. Close to Salamonie Reservoir and many trails and camping.

Rustic River Outfitters is located on the 3-acre property that was formerly the old saw mill in Mt. Etna. They've transformed the structures, while still keeping a rustic feel and they've done a great job. Here's what they offer:Kayak and Canoe Rentals: They've mapped out and provide maps for paddles varying from 2 to 6.5 hours. The shuttle service makes the logistics of spending time on the water easy.Ice Cream Parlor: This section is small but offers some of the best ice cream I've been served in Indiana. Our most recent visit we enjoyed Kentucky Praline Pecan, Florida Orange Sherbet and Strawberry Cheesecake varieties. They rotate flavors but have enough variety I've always found something tempting.Wine Room and Craft Beer: The tasting room is beautiful but we honestly haven't tried this yet. At the moment the only food they have daily to go with the drinks is nachos. However, they have been offering food with live music as outlined on their Facebook page and website.Event Space: The back portion of the property has been made into an event space with tables under cover in another out-building. My mom's high school reunion is scheduled to take place here.

This place is awesome; kayaks, canoes, delicious nachos, craft beer, wine, ice cream parlor, cute seating areas inside and out. A group of 4 of us came here on a Saturday afternoon and had the best time! Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The facility is so cute and fun we spent a few hours here just hanging out after our kayak trip. We'll definitely be going back!!

Great place to relax with friends and enjoy drinks and good food. The pulled pork nachos are delicious. My favorite wine is Huber winery Cabernet Sauvignon. Staff if fabulous and friendly! Ice cream is the best!
