Rustic Gardens Golf Center

The first thing the owners of Rustic Gardens Golf Center will likely tell you is that this is not what is commonly known as Putt-Putt. Located on the southeast side of Indy, Rustic Gardens actually was born all the way back in 1924. Ownership has changed hands and the name these days is actually "Rustic Driving Range & Mini Golf." First off, pricing: $8 for 9 holes (takes around 45-60 minutes)$13 for 18 holes (takes around 60-90 minutes)$18 for 27 holes (takes about 120 minutes)Kids under the age of 3 are free. Club rental and ball included. Rustic Gardens offers private party space at their 9-hole and 18-hole course and access to the course comes with event rental. Reservations are recommended, though they can occasionally respond to short-term requests. Rates are from $150 for 2 hours (9-hole course) to $300 for 2 hours (18-hole course) with additional hours available. Check their website for the full details (I'm adding the website to the listing). Rustic Gardens also has a men's league and a women's league along with a Fall tournament. Rustic Gardens is a mini vision of a 27-hole golf course. It has natural grass, obstacles, and trees. Nearly every other mini-golf place in Indiana is a Putt-Putt type place with turf (generally easier). This course has some holes well over 75 feet - most holes are par 4 with some par 5 (with Putt-Putt, par 2 or 3 is a standard). Rustic Gardens indicates the course is disability friendly, though I'd likely disagree with them. Some holes are definitely not. I would agree that an effort has been made to improve access and I think those who are generally mobile (even those who are simply very good in wheelchairs) will find enough to have a good time here. Overall, this is a really cool and under-appreciated place in Indy and it's truly family friendly. Employees are friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is quite pleasing. I have a couple friends who really love it here - so, there's no doubt I'll be back.

This was such a cute place, off the beaten path of downtown. Lots of trees with lots of shade for playing during the summer. Def not a perfectly created course, it's a bit rugged and "rustic" with nature adding natural obstacles, which added to the fun of it. They have a small shop with drinks/snacks, they have onsite bathrooms, and free parking. Fun for adults or kids!! Pricing listed in pictures. PS: they now hiring!

Great mini golf & driving ranges! Complex courses & a satisfying nature scenic place to play. The people that work there were very nice and showed the upmost best customer service. The driving range is a beautiful place to be on a sunny spring/ summer day.

This place is awesome! They let you know it is mini golf and not putt-putt. Which I had no clue there was a difference, but found out it seems to mean the hole can be pretty far to get to! Some of the holes are pretty challenging-- so good luck.Great for a date or group event!

A family favorite location for all ages. We have been coming here for years now and still enjoy the mini golf set up. We always alternate between the 9 and 18 holes. I do think the 18 hole is more developed and fun but the 9 is cool as well. This is a cash only business so be prepared! It runs between $8 a person for the 9 holes. The course is in need of some maintenance as well as the grounds as they use to have chickens by a little pond and they were gone and the pond was algae filled.

Amazing facility! Very affordable and so fun! We have done both the miniature golf course and the driving range. Both are extremely affordable and cash only. My fiancé and I had a great time and the staff was very friendly and happy to answer any questions we had. It is a perfect location to get out of town and only a 15 minute drive. Very spacious and serene.

Visited last week and so disappointed. Everything was in rough shape but the prices have gone up. No flowers planted and the grass needed cut. So sad to see this place go down hill. We've been going there for over 40 years and this is the worst I've seen it.

Definitely rustic but our family had a great time! My kids said they wished all putt-putt courses were like this.

My husband and I visited this facility last night and had a great time. It was such a nice place to play mini golf. I had no idea there was a difference between mini golf and putt putt, but I'll be playing mini golf from now on. Very pretty, playing in the grass, surrounded by trees. There's actual sand pits too surrounding the holes as opposed to fake grass. We had a lot of fun and will definitely be coming back a lot in the future.

Use to be a great place but it is a mess now. The weeds and what little grass there is needed to be cut and the sand needs to be refreshed and maintained. Played 8 of the 16 homes we paid for and left.
