There are not many places like this anymore and when you count the clean feel of the place that reduces the competition even further. Shelbyville is lucky to have such a place in town. Even luckier to have it be in support of a great cause: Rupert's Kids. Come here, have fun, give back.

Went for a 14-yr olds birthday party a few weeks ago. Lots of different types of games. Video games, pinball, home entertainment games, and air hockey. Had a blast and will go back again!!!

We rented out Rupert's Kids Arcade for a private birthday party and we were not disappointed! The rate was very reasonable, all games (including pinball) were open, and it was fun for all ages! We will be returning!

Rupert's Arcade gets 5 stars for it's awesome mission, proceeds go to fund Rupert's Kids. Which is a non-profit helping young adults succeed. Rupert is famously known for his role on the TV series "Survivor." He is from Indiana, here in Shelbyville. The arcade is something every kid from my generation can appreciate. It's a bit of a throwback walking in, with pinball machines and video games that bring back memories of the days before cell phones and all the electronics we have today. If this arcade existed when I was 12 years old, a play-all-day arcade would be every preteen's dream! This was as fun of a stop for my husband as it was for our kids. We stopped in for an hour visit because we were visiting at the end of the day. Although their prices are so affordable it's worth paying the $10 for all day unlimited play. Otherwise it's $5 an hour per person. The building itself is very much a dive-like atmosphere. This really adds to the vintageness of the type of arcade you're visiting though. Nothing fancy, just kicking back with family and friends, a couple of Mountain Dews, getting some old school gaming on. In the back there's several tables set up, you can rent this area for parties. You can even rent the entire arcade for a private party, the prices are extremely affordable. They accept cards for payment at the front. And they do sell sodas and bottled waters. They are active on their Facebook page, so you can check there for updates, events, and announcements.

FREE. UNLIMITED. PLAY. That should be enough to get you through the door! Classics? They've got them! New games? Got those too! Throw a birthday party for a steal of only $75 an hour for up to FIFTY (yes, 50!!!) people. What's awesome is that by doing so, you get the place to yourself. Wonderful staff and a great facility.
