Rose City Bowl

This is such a great place. If you are in the Newcastle area or anywhere close, you should make a trip over here. Everything has been updated and is in such great shape. Something you don't always see at bowling alleys these days. They continue to upgrade and make it even better. We have our Christmas party here every year and it is so great every year. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is wonderful. Have a great bar, tons of lanes, and they do something called hyper bowling, which is so much fun. Not a place to miss if you are in the Newcastle area.

The kids had a blast with the different style of games. Nice clean facility and then workers were curious when explaining the games.

Very nice facility. Clean. But, when cosmic bowling started, the music was really quiet and it was just lame. We paid for 2 hours but left early because it was so boring.

Very cute and very clean facility! However, Cosmic bowling was little to be desired. You could barely hear the music, and it was just kinda boring. Not worth the money.

If only there was another place to bowl. Service horrible. Pizza terrible. Equipment sucks. Best of luck.

Took my kids on a Tuesday to bowl. No open lanes due to a tournament. So I decided to let them play in the arcade area. Machines were out of order. Machines took the tokens, didn't give back tickets. Most the machines wereOut of order. I brought this to the attention of the manager and she treated me as I was trying to steal tickets or tokens from them. Very disappointed.

1st time I've been here in many years (since HS Bowling), was very disappointed. place used to seem welcoming now faces are annoyed your there. Prices are what you would expect in a city like Chicago or a big city like that. Lanes were so dry it wasn't enjoyable. place was pretty empty and staff were not very pleasant to deal with they seemed like the were to busy to help when there may have been 2 lanes being used. drifted by pro shop young kid was rude and honestly didn't seem to know anything. Food was priced for a nice restaurant but greasy and put me and my wife on the toilet within a few hours, eat at your own risk. all in all its sad to see what's happened to this center. We've been told by friends who used to bowl here that things were getting bad and the owner just told them if they wanted to complain go elsewhere....they did, apparently many have

WE were here for a tournament. The place was clean, the employees were all polite and available at all times. The arcade looked like a pretty cool place for kids. The lanes themselves seemed to be very well maintained. I would bowl hear anytime.

I've been to events here like Bowl for Kids safe and it's always been ran well. It's non smoking and that's a big improvement from the past. There is also an arcade.
