Always enjoy visiting Lahody's I've had dinner for 5, no issues at all.. food was wonderful, out server (Tory) was very attentive/pleasant..Also had the Friday shrimp cocktail (3 of them, 5 large shrimp each) and it's a pleaser. I'll be back, thanks

Amazing meal. My brother and I shared the tomahawk steak, which was perfectly cooked and phenomenal. The service was flawless. We were visiting from out of town, but I would jump at the chance to visit Muncie again just to visit this great restaurant.

My review is for the new Anderson location, however can't find it on here to review this exact location. I can't contain my excitement that we have a restaurant like this 10 miles from my house. The restaurant is really well done. We went on a Thursday not knowing that it was $5 burgers night. Wow! What a surprise. We started with Shrimp Cocktail. The cocktail sauce opened up my sinuses but in a good way. So good! I had the Lemon martini with sugar on rim. We loved the cornbread that came with our meal. So fresh and warm. We went ahead and ordered the $5 hamburgers as we can try more menu items next time we visit. They were very tasty and cooked perfect. We had onion rings and sweet potato casserole as sides. I regret not taking a piece of the carrot cake home so I will make sure to get that next visit. Definitely coming back soon and telling all my friends about how good the service and food are.

We're excited that Lahody's steakhouse has opened a new location in Anderson! The decor is very cool and modern on the inside the staff were all nice and friendly. The shrimp in the shrimp cocktail are huge! The sauce is on the spicy side beware if you aren't into that. We didn't care too much for the candied bacon, It's more like a thick pork belly and has a glaze on it. We had the filet steaks for our entree and they were juicy and delicious! The drinks from the bar were excellent, we had the smoked old fashioned. We'll definitely be back!

A LOT has changed since Trust Your Butcher opened in 2018; most post-pandemic. Throughout 2019-20, I could walk in off the street on a weeknight and sit alone at the bar, do a bit of work, and eat a fine meal. The food--while rather plain in delivery--was delicious.As of my return in 2023: the PATRONAGE, PRESENTATION,...and PRICE have all greatly increased! Of the four times I've eaten dinner here this year, the place is absolutely packed. I sometimes wonder if they'll take walk-ins without a reservation. The dishes, however, are definitely more upscale with a culinary artist delivering a mouth watering canvas. Skim through my and other Yelpers images--you'll see what I'm talkin' about. It's one thing to make the dish visually appealing, but I genuinely believe the food has levels up in flavor as well. From a guy who boasted about not seasoning his steaks on the back of the original menu to the well seasoned and crusted offerings today, the owner and chef have listened to the people. Tonight I asked for a black & blue ribeye (blackening seasoning + blue cheese crumbles) and every bite was perfect!Like everywhere else, however, the price for this dining experience has jumped significantly! Bone-In Filet $44 to $69 (both 14 oz.), Porterhouse $39 (20 oz.) to $69 (28 oz.), and the Delmonico originally $46 is now $61 (both 14 oz.). If you want a steak similar in price-to-pound from the original menu, stick with Ron's Signature Ribeye [jumped from $37 (18 oz.) to $63 (24 oz.)]. I'm not sure where the money is coming from, but people are dropping it at Ron Lahody's feet.If you are looking for the best steak in town at an upscale venue, as he says in the title, best 'trust your butcher'.

Had the seafood linguine and Chicago style oysters. Delicious! Definitely plan on going back and trying more items. Wish the service was a little faster on attendance but overall had a wonderful experience in a beautiful atmosphere.

We celebrated our daughter-in-law's birthday at Lahody's! It has been a while since we have been here. We had a party of 8 (two toddlers) and adults. Our server, Olivia was wonderful. She was attentive and took great care of us. The food at Lahody's is wonderful. Any and all of the portions of the sides are big enough to be shareable, so be sure to get something different and share tastes (we almost go family style and love too many of the dishes). The soups are great. The mixologist always does a great job. My favorite is the smoked maple Old Fashioned. The wine list is a good one. And the steaks (or fish or lamb). Each cut is always perfectly prepared. This is one of the rare restaurants that gets rare right!Going back? Of course!

This was my first visit and I admit, I'm not a huge steak/meat eater, so probably not the best place for me. I came for a birthday party. I thought the prices were really high! I ordered a burger mostly because it was the most affordable meal. The burger was mediocre. I would much prefer a Five Guys Burger. It was also the same size as the kids burger, but twice as expensive. I loved the complimentary cornbread! The staff was nice and attentive, but we were seated and didn't receive menus until after the waitress took our drink orders. If you bring a birthday cake, be prepared for a $20 cake fee. Overall disappointed to have to pay over $50 (with tip) for an average burger, soda, and the ability to share a cake.

Walking into the restaurant the atmosphere perfectly combined country with luxury. This is the type of restaurant you could come into casually or elegantly. The bar was a warm and inviting area with beautiful chandeliers hanging above. When one looks up they will see the second story, which appeared to have a respectful display and showed great devotion to our troops. We were seated in a nice private area with booths, next to the bar. We truly enjoyed the privacy and light atmosphere. For food we decided to get the Lobster Mac, which was paired as a side dish instead of an appetizer. When I get Mac & Cheese I look at 3 things. Flavor, Consistency & Noodle tenderness. Nothing is worse than getting a good looking Mac & Cheese just for it to come out tasting like almost done slimy noodles. I absolutely CANNOT say that about this dish! The noodles were al dente, and melted with every bite. The cheese sauce was creamy and full of flavor. We definitely cannot forget about the lobster because that was the ingredient that tied all the flavors together. I also got the Filet mignon with broccolini and a loaded baked potato. The filet was cooked to perfection. The tenderness melted in my mouth, replacing the delicious meat with juicy flavor. The seer of this meat not only made it look perfect, but also added an appreciable flavor.Lastly, Gelato was deliciously consumed for desert. I cannot have any complaints when it comes to gelato. We were accidentally served chocolate cake which looks amazing as well, but when we told the waiter it was replaced accordingly. Which is appreciated. Our waiter Gabe was amazing and on it tonight. He was quick to get us some water and a drink, checked frequently but not too frequent, and had a joking but serious attitude, which made for good conversation. Recommend for date nights or special occasions for sure!
