Rockit's Famous Pizza

Love love love this pizza place! I first came here because I wanted pizza and it was one of the only places that was still open. The location is kinda sketchy at night, but the pizza is amazing. They have a lot of good toppings, they are NOT skimpy on the toppings, and prices are very reasonable. I will come here for pizza every time I'm in town.I would have taken pictures, but I was so hungry and it was so delicious I forgot. And that's a big deal!

New York style pizza by the slice (huge slices) for those late nights or a whole pie if you want to stay in. Throw in a side of breadsticks with cheese sauce and ranch for good measure. Conveniently located in downtown Bloomington close to bars (within stumbling distance lol) and open late! They deliver too but there is something special about the vibe of listening to music and waiting in line for that satisfying slice then dumping Parmesan cheese or garlic powder on top to get that perfect first bite. Great college memories were made here. If you are a student of Indiana university or only in town for little 5, definitely stop in for a slice!

Simple, cheap, tasty--how had I never been here, or even heard of this place, until last weekend?Rockit's is a (very) small pizza joint on Walnut, near the Bluebird, Brothers, Sports, and other bars and restaurants (right across from Btown Diner!). We stopped in in desperate need of something greasy after a night out at Sports, and this could not have hit the spot more. Food in Bloomington is generally on the more expensive end, so I was delighted to find pizza-by-the-slice for a mere $2.75. What a deal. Bring cash or buy together, though, because they have a credit card minimum. It might have just been the state of mild inebriation I was in when I ate this pizza, or the distracting fact that the place was absolutely PACKED with people and super loud and chaotic, but honestly this was way better than pizza from a lot of the famous, more expensive places in Bloomington. Dare I say that the sauce and crust of this pizza made it better than either Pizza X or (I know this is heresy) Mother Bear's? You'll just have to get a couple drinks in you and go find out yourself, I suppose...

Good pizza pie! The food is not just good but fantastic! The environment is visually appealing and really adds to the experience. I've been to Rockit's several times and been blown away every single time. I highly encourage everyone to eat here!

Pizza tastes like cardboard, but it is $3 a slice and is one of the few places open late. I'd consider it a wash!

Best pizza in all of Bloomington, most amazing New York style, better than anyone else in town! Also family owned with a ton of history, been here forever, they are a well deserved staple!

Dave was wrong, but the pizza does look different in the video so I'm willing to give another chance. I thought the church sent oplatki early

Not what it used to be ... crust was dried out ... sauce was bland and there was very little on the pizza to begin with ... service was meh. Breadsticks half the size they used to be and no sesame seeds? Talk about running a place into the ground.

Horrible service this Pablo who works there has the worst attitude ever, he needs to get it right I'm writing this review today at 8:25 pm august 10th that this dude got no skills for customer service at all.. to much gas in his ass for no reason.

If you haven't waited in line for a 3 dollar slice of Rockits you did college wrong. Great memories give this place a 5 star for myself.
