What a nice little roadside tavern!!!Been there several times n doesn't disappoint!!You gotta get a cheeseburger....killer.

TL;DR Looking for a hole in the wall with good food and ice cold beer, look no further. Pull up on a beautiful day and sit outside on the patio. The inside reeks of cigarette smoke.Having lived in Westfield 20 years I have always wanted to try this place. We've heard good things about the food and bad things about the smell of smoke inside. If you're like me, in the 80% of non smokers in Indiana, this place will be off putting when you walk in. If you can make it through to the right hand side door to the patio you'll. be rewarded with good food, cold beer, at very reasonable prices. Pro Tip: Park on the west side next to the patio. Just let the bartender know you're outside. The inside and outside are nothing to look at; a criteria for a hole in the wall.Shelby was working the day we stopped in, and recommended the tenderloin, burgers, pizza, and wraps. They have quite the assortment of menu items. I went for the tenderloin and tots with a side of beer. I will preface this to say, I am not a tenderloin connoisseur. I just had my first tenderloin during COVID, ~2021, down in Edinburgh, IN which was fantastic, but three people could have shared it. I found this one to be just as good. I actually preferred this one due the smaller, single serving size. My wife ordered the Burger Wrap. Think a hamburger chopped up and rolled in a tortilla with lettuce, tomato and pickles with a side of Ruffles. She really enjoyed it. We'll be back as long as wether permits outdoor dining. They serve Coke products and I opted for beer, which was served ice cold on the warm summer day.

Went here the other night for a couple drinks and some dinner with my son. The food was very good, but I have to say the service was lacking a little bit. I understand there is only one lady working so she had her hands full to say the least. I asked for a water two times and never got one and then we had to wait 15 plus minutes to pay our bill even though my son took the bill up to the counter to check out just to have someone wait on him .We still really like the place and will return

This place is insanely crazy in a fun way! The people working behind the bar are very local folks and are easy to converse with. Most people that go there are very genuine. I love their karaoke nights just to sit and watch other people do it. Find out what night those are and you will not be disappointed. Also their food is outstanding for bar food

Great little find in the country. Stopped in for lunch last Saturday. Very clean and cozy. Allows smoking. 21 and over. Great burger and fries, cold beer, and friendly service. So glad we found this place. We'll be back!

Go on Thursday for lunch. Chicken fried tenderloin mashed potatoes and homemade green beans. Its a little hole in the wall. A great place to take a motorcycle ride.

So, the Roadside Café is a bit rough around the edges, which means it's not normally a place I would gravitate toward. We went there last Saturday mainly because it's about a mile from my house, and it was on the way to where we were headed (Zionsville). The first thing you notice when you walk through the door is the smell of cigarette smoke. It's been many years since I've smelled that in a restaurant, so it brought back lots of memories (most of them bad). The food quality was decent. I ordered the ribeye and eggs, with home fries. It was exactly what I expected, so no complaints there. However, it took an entire hour for our food to arrive. I know this, because I checked-in on Yelp as soon as we arrived, and it was exactly one hour later when our server finally brought food to our table. An hour. Sixty minutes. My theory is that the cook/chef showed up for work late, and then frantically started preparing everyone's order. I'm not sure, but either way, I doubt I'll be back, due to that huge delay and the lung cells I lost.

We drive past this place every day but have never been inside. But we decided to go check them out yesterday for lunch. This is just a hole in the wall nothing much to see. Staff was friendly. Food is all homemade. They have cheap drinks and the food prices arent bad either. Yesterday was $2 domestic bottles so we had a few of those and a couple cocktails with Tito's vodka. They have a jukebox and an ATM if you need one. They accept credit cards too. They also have a pull tab machine. The place is old but clean. I had read something on here that said they allow smoking after 3pm and I am not sure about that but I did observe two men about to light up just as we were leaving around 4pm so they allow smoking at some point.

Ate there a few times when I worked in the area food was good hopefully can try it again soon but have been the the area in awhile

We used the come weekly for the Chicken Fried Steak lunch special. It used to be very busy, not today in fact more people left without being served. I wished we had left too. Way too salty, cold green beans, 45 minutes to get our food. The old, smoky ambiance used to be quaint, now it just sucked.
