Ritz Theatre

I went there saturday night on the 7th of October 2017. Nice place to visit. Employees very cordial. Popcorn had just tooo much salt. I love movie theater popcorn but had a really hard time finishing the large bag that i bought. Also, the theater to the left has a slit in the screen on the lower left that sort of ruins part of the movie. Sitting on the right side of that theater you can hear the next door theater movie going on. Overall the visit was nice but I want my popcorn tasty. Smiles

I come to Portland every year for the scooter meet but I also have a mini tradition when I go. I always try and visit the theater to see what's playing. It's a little old theater that keeps with the old theater feel and look. Lots of maroon colors, two screens, and very select times. The prices are also pretty cheap to.

Nice theater, clean and nice seats. Movie is priced right but the Popcorn and drinks were a little high.

No way. I've been going to this theatre for 20 plus years. Former management was wonderful and SO kind. New guy managing the place is a jerk and so RUDE. I took a van load of 10 kids to the movies after calling and checking the voicemail AND looking on Facebook to make sure the movie was playing, and I get there to find a note on the door that the theatre was closed. I would have cut them slack but they had known about this since 3 days previous!! It takes seconds to update your Facebook profile and minutes to update your voicemail. I decided to give them another chance and AFTER purchasing our tickets he told the people behind us that they didn't have heat in the theatre. Also something they had known at least all day. He didn't want to get bad reviews on Yelp so he decided to tell people (after he didn't tell us of course). Again, NO mention on Facebook or Voicemail. I don't know why people keep going back. I'd rather pay big bucks and drive elsewhere or wait for the DVD. Never going back again.
