What better dessert on a cold winter night than something cold? Shockingly, others didn't seem to feel the same way, so when I stopped by, I was the only customer. Obviously, it was pretty quick service, and the gelati I had was just as good as I remembered. Your eyes will tell you that you want a large, but I've found that the small is the perfect size.Depending on when you try to visit, parking can be tricky. Genius me, I stopped by Friday around dinner time, so I had to park a few blocks away. But I think it is worth the walk

I got the 5 layer gelati with the vanilla custard and mango ice! I love that there's a walk up service window! It makes it super easy to get service when walking my pup around the area! Inside is a bit small. Not much seating at all. But on a warm day there're benches that're close by to be able to sit and enjoy a frozen treat. Always a fun place to stop at for a gelati. The flavors change often, so new flavor combos are always available!

Went back after a year and totally enjoyed the chocolate vanilla twist with a dribble of chocolate sprinkles on top making my visit extra special! My server got my order wrong but immediately replaced upon asking and didn't flinch on accepting the miss! We enjoyed a couple other flavors too and must say the ice cream wasn't too heavy or intense for my taste. It was about right and definitely worth my dime!

A Carmel mainstay, what more could you want than fantastic ice cream and frozen treats! I take my kids here all the time and we always enjoy it. From the fun outdoor counter service in the summer with easy access off the Monon to slipping inside in cooler months for a sweet treat. The staff here are young, but always friendly and well trained. And the treats can't be beat!

absolutely love Rita's! I used to go when i lived in florida, then moved back home and whenever im in town i stop by! such a cute little spot, always greeted by super friendly people, the ice cream and Italian ice gives me lifeeee. and they always offer samples so you make sure you love what you get! i told the nice woman working how i lived 2 hours away so of course i had to get some and she recommended getting a big to go container of it, its cold out and would keep for the drive. and i had my freezer bag in the trunk! so worked out perfect. it's like omg why did i never think about doing that!

I had a craving for ice cream, so I decided to try frozen custard from Rita's. I ordered the chocolate Vanilla Swirl custard through Uber Eats. It was good and tasted creamy, but did not blow me away. For a sweet treat, it did satisfy my craving. I would be interested in trying their Italian Ice one day since they are also known for their Italian Ice. Rita's is a great sweet treat for the spring and summer. Being healthy these days, I try to stay away from sweets, but if I crave Rita's custard, I will definitely pick up a custard if I am in the mood. It is different, but tasted wonderful! I will definitely have to visit the location in person soon to see all the different flavors they have for Italian Ice. It would be worth trying!

I'm leaving another review for Rita's... but this location just makes me so happy. They always have great flavors! Today they had Chocolate Covered Banana Cream Ice and it was delicious! I have some flavor recommendations: mint chocolate chip and/or black cherry. Keep the banana / banana chocolate too :) is NJ locals love it!
