Ridenour Park

This park has a lot of potential, but just hasn't had the money put into it. There isn't even an Indy Parks sign, just a list of rules posted. The park area is nestled in between Eagle Creek and Holt Rd/Rockville Rd. So, beyond the park area, there is a raised area that forms the bank of Eagle Creek that could make for good hiking trail if it was maintained. There is some playground equipment and some large trees for shade, but the park doesn't have anything for older kids and it doesn't have a shelter for hosting a cookout. There is no parking lot...just a gravel type drive area that encircles the playground to exit back out the same entrance.Review #657
