Richards Restaurant

Richard's is okay. They are pretty plain with no frills. The menu is simple with a decent variety to appeal to most appetites. The prices fit the simple menu so you get a decent value.This facility is a little dated in decor like most Richard's restaurants. However they are clean and good repair. The wait staff was very friendly and visited the table frequently.On this trip I had the BLT & C salad. The ingredients were fresh and nicely presented. There was an appropriate amount of bacon and grilled chicken and cheese. Not over done. The salad dressing had a Smokey flavor that was similar to a honey mustard. The salad came with a piece of garlic toast that was slightly buttered, soft and had a hint of garlic taste.Give this place a try if you are after a simple dining option. The place is hidden behind a couple of street front buildings so you will have to look hard to find it.

Not had the best of luck the last 2 times I ate breakfast there. First time I ordered the breakfast bowl and I did not care much for it as it did not have much gravy at all! The second time I ordered the biscuits and gravy and did not particularly care for it either as it was thin and watery and did not have much sausage in it. My son did like his French toast both times, however.

I got hired here a year ago, and I was so mortified at how gross the restaurant was that I never returned after working just one shift. The manager was disgusting. She put the wrong dressing on a salad and grabbed a rag out of the bucket we used to wipe down tables with (the water in the buckets was cold and nasty, it obviously hadn't been changed all day) to clean the dressing off the salad before putting the correct dressing on and then served it to a customer. Would put zero stars if possible. This place was GROSS.

Have tried it twice but after the second time of it taking over an hour to get our food, with young children, it won't happen again.

This place makes you wonder if Indiana ever orders dry toast. We ordered dry toast 5 times and it came out as ordered zero times. The waitresses are painfully slow and don't care. The food is at best mediocre. If you want something other than 1950s Betty Crocker comfort food, forget it.Another all time great from this visit: Dad: (looking at buttered toast) "do you have any jelly?"Waitress: "uhhhh yeah....! (Awkward pause)...... Did you want some?" Dad: yes please. Waitress: (huge annoyed sigh) "what kind?"Can't just bring out a packet or two with each order of toast? Pretty par for the course. We also got overcharged so careful. Average age in the place: 85.

I've been going to Richards as long as I can remember & since the Strong Family had closed Bear Creek Farms it's safe to say their Richards franchises have suffered. Went for breakfast & food was warm, ham was so hard my knife couldn't cut it & potatoes were greasy. Sadly the surrounding Richards Restaurant Chains aren't faring any better. A lack of cleanliness, routine maintenance & poor quality of food have ruined what used to be an every week visit from my Family.

Twice now, no chicken for carry out an hour before closing on Saturday. They close at 3 which is crazy anyway cuz tons of ppl looking for work and it's going on 3 years now. Bluffton doesn't offer any choices for a meal that's not fast food after 3pm. Why offer dinner? It's a breakfast and lunch establishment only. They sure miss out on $$ with those hours.

Now that we lost "Corner Depot," this is the local spot for Bluffton folks for breakfast. Best breakfast option, but the food quality could be improved. No half and half! Smaller portions here, but that is fine. They keep the prices reasonable. Please be patient, they are overwhelmed with the crowd that used to go to "Corner Depot."

Great Restaurant, The Food is Cheap And Excellent. Great Service, Friendly Waiters/Waitresses. Love The Decor, Very Old School. Will Continue To Eat There

The food was very good and was at our table very timely. All the staff was very nice and friendly. My only complaint was that it was a little pricey I would definitely recommend this to other people.
