Great service! The food was really good and it was a great experience. This is a smoking bar but the smell isn't terrible. The servers were really funny and great to interact with! I got the pork tenderloin and man it was good.

Decent Booze, nothing to brag about that I can remember. Friendly patrons though. I should try it again sometime.

Rex is real!I never met him, but this bar is great- like the 'Cheers' of Warsaw. It's divey and the boys can get a little rowdy, but no sooner than it heats up, it's handled in a cool way and things are back to normal. While in town for a project, I was out late and looking for somethingOPEN, for one, and I also wanted a place with GOOD FOOD. I read a review and decided on this place, but to be honest- there aren't many options on M/T. I walked in, and the Colts were playing on one TV above the bar. A friendly stranger made room for me to sit at the bar. I ordered something that they had just ran out of, but the bartender quickly offered me a similar suggestion.When my burger came out, I was pleasantly surprised- it was GOOD. I washed it down with 3/5 Metazoa beers they had on tap. What a cool beer selection. I definitely didn't feel like an out-of-towner here because everyone was so nice. P.s. come play pool, listen to LIVE MUSIC on the weekends, and/or sing karaoke sometimes too!the only reason not 5 stars is bc of the smoking- sooo much smoke

This hole on the wall has been there since I was a child!We visited Warsaw back in October. My home town. I had to make a stop in there for old times sake. The world has changed but not this place and that is a good thing. We stopped by on a slow night. We may have been the only ones for a while before business picked up. The bartender was very friendly and I enjoyed our discussions. I bought a t-shirt and I even mailed her a t-shirt after I got back home!

I'm new to Warsaw, my fiancé has lived here for 25 years. Rex's is a great place to pop into and get a drink and a meal. Pizza and subs are very good. The Prime rib sandwich is freaking awesome! The draft beer selection is well thought out, and one tap always has a rotating offering from Rhinegeist Brewery. Staff are friendly and Robin, the owner, is a great guy who collects classic Triumph motorcycles. Yeah, they allow smoking. So what? Out of the dozens of bars and restaurants in Warsaw, Rex's is like one of three that permit it. The non smokers crying about it have a plethora of other dining and drinking options. So take their one star reviews with a grain of salt. The place has great ventilation so to me it's much ado about nothing.

Stopped here for lunch and let me tell you the first thing that hits you when you walk in is the cigarette smoke - lots of it. Seating is very tight with raised booths along the wall, but then there are lower tables that are sitting right next to them. Wanted to watch football, but the TVs were not very clear and it was hard to see what was going on during the game.Server was friendly, did a good job keeping our sodas filled, but overall was a bit slow at times. She never asked if we liked our food and we had to flag her down to order and get our bill. The food is just OK. Primarily burgers, fried appetizers, grinders, and pizza. I was able to see in the kitchen and the burger patties were frozen and the fries came out of a big bag. I can only assume that most of the appetizers are from a food service company as well. I had a burger and about the best thing about it was the thick slice of fresh tomato and the chilled leaf of iceberg lettuce. The crust on the pizza was obviously not homemade and the flavor was just OK. I guess you could say just typical bar food meaning nothing special.Overall this might be a great place to hang out and grab a beer, but I wouldn't stop again just for the food. Other reviewers have mentioned steaks (wonder if they are frozen like the burgers), the excellent coleslaw (but again is it homemade?), and the on tap root beer - which the server never mentioned and I don't recall seeing on the menu (but I wasn't specifically looking). My biggest issue is with the smoking - yes I know it is a bar, but it was just too smoky to enjoy the food.

So, thought this would be a great dive bar with some good greasy American food. First, they do smoke there, and it's not very welcoming by the locals, but the waitress was nice. My burger was a frozen patty. Someone else in my party ordered the tenderloin. It was cooked frozen on a grill. The fries were decent. Pepsi on fountain. Coke in the can. Please go to Danny's bar and grille at Barbee Lake, real dive bar with excellent food!

Pizza was yummy years ago. Haven't been for a long time. No longer drink or smoke so I don't go anymore. When I was younger it was a fun time w friends for a last stop place to have a drink.

I've been coming to this place for a couple years now and despite the staff shortages, the constant conflicts with what they have in stock, and certain bands falling through with their scheduled performances, they do the best that they can to make sure that everyone at the bar is taken care of in a timely fashion.
