Revery

This was my first visit to the Revery steakhouse, but it certainly won't be my last!We decided to try a new experience for dinner on the eve of the new year. The Revery is conveniently located, easy to find, and plenty of parking is available. Reservations were made for this evening's visit to ensure our table would be available. Warm and inviting describes the ambiance, as we were seated in the back bar area. Hence, I was quick to order up a perfect 'old fashioned'.The meal was exceptional. Starting with the poutine, we were pleasantly surprised at the assembly of edible bowl filled with tasty offerings. The mains were equally delicious, a premium ribeye and short ribs. What was also impressive were the sides - sweet potato puree and Brussel sprouts.We finished our meal with a delicious Creme Brule, which was a perfect ending to a wonderful visit.

Ambience: cozy, laid back, great date place. Music could be softer.Service: friendly, prompt. Food: has the ricotta appetizer, mashed potatoes and the burger. They were all great ! Even accommodated some change requests (sauces on the side). Personally I would have preferred less of the sugary syrup on the ricotta but that was the only issue I had with that dish.Price: only had food, no drinks. Was very reasonably priced. My bill was less than 40 usd. Will I return ? Yes!

We recently dined at Revery in Greenwood, Indiana, to celebrate my brother's birthday. Our reservation was for 7:30 PM, but unfortunately, we were not seated until 8:05 PM. Although we asked to speak to the manager regarding the delay, no one came to address our concerns, or communicate the time we would be seated. They also would not provide time when we could get our reserved table.Once we were finally seated, we placed our order, but the dishes were brought out inconsistently, with items arriving 5-10 minutes apart. Despite our request for the manager to address these issues, no one came to our table to apologize or check on us.While Revery has a great ambiance and came highly recommended, the lack of attentiveness from the staff and management left us disappointed on what should have been a special night. I hope they consider improving their service to better accommodate guests and make special occasions more enjoyable.The manager came to table after we finished our meal upon 2nd request. I had a mandatory 20% tip added and my brother had 22% mandatory tip. Which I thought was unacceptable. I sure don't mind tipping appropriately, as I have been a server. Since we had unacceptable service for our special eve, I think the manager should have come over prior to us asking. Nothing was offered by the establishment for the inconvenience. They did provide of excuses of why we did not get our table at reservation time, and the staggered times of our meal delivery. (Staff and kitchen issues) .. Historically there has not been an issue. If a restaurant is understaffed, they should not accept additional tables, it is not appropriate for the patriot or the staff.The food was great! We all enjoyed our meal. The right temperature and flavors for the food.The manager was not happy that I would be making a review on the service. I probably would not go there again, as there are many restaurants that Customer Service and quality is the specialty. Good luck

The food was great. Nice atmosphere. The service was great too. We did have a reservation so there was no wait. By 7 on a Friday, it was pretty full, but we never saw a wait line. So you may not need one.

Some of the pictures are from a year ago when I posted them and some are from last night. We chose Revery a year ago to have our post wedding dinner with our family and chose last night to celebrate our year anniversary! The food was delicious then and now! Definitely book a reservation if you want to eat here. Revery is wonderful for a group celebration as well as a good date night. The staff are very welcoming and knowledgeable of the menu items. We parked across the street and walked across, definitely a great atmosphere and would highly recommend Revery.

Food was good (sorry - no photos). Poutine app was excellent and very sharable. Ambiance was as expected. Rating based on our wait for dinner. And accommodations for a high chair.Our fault really. Forgot to specify a high chair when we made our reservation. Only table for our party of 7 adults was a high top. High chair too low so we made it work. Again our fault.However... seated for dinner at 7:30pm. Ordered 8:15. Food served around 8:40. So, a longer than expected wait. That said we like this place so next time earlier or during the week.

Food, service and ambiance were wonderful. Our waitress, Amanda was excellent. Drinks and Joey the bartender were great. We were greeted by James very welcoming. Great food, drinks, and service were top notch all the way.

It's been a while since I've been back. I have to admit since I tried a dinner instead of a brunch this, it was definitely a better experience overall. It also was not packed with people or had loads of people on a waiting list. The service was a bit above average, and everybody seemed to enjoy their food. They are pricey, but, it's a higher brow marketed place so it's par for the course. You get a fair amount of food for the price. The atmosphere is pleasant enough too. It is cramped seating and a bit loud, so a quiet dinner is not on the menu. Someday I'll probably try them again.

We visited Revery for the first time and was amazed. We started with Fried Rock Shrimp which was lightly battered and served with a chili sauce. I had the Scottish Salmon which was served with zucchini noodles,sticky rice and a soy chili sauce. Delicious! My husband for the Short Rib tacos with crispy cabbage loads of meat, micro cilantro and pickled onion. He absolutely loved it. We got the cream Brule to go since it sounded amazing and we couldn't eat another bite. The portions were large and the price was great for what we We will be coming back and bringing friends and family.

Food was delicious. We were a party of six. We had made reservations and were seated at a high top table. We asked to be moved and it was no problem at all. Service was great. Very attentive but not annoying.
