Red Sea Bar and Restaurant

The food and service here is amazing. I have eaten at multiple Ethiopian restaurants in Indy and this might be my favorite. Got the veggie platter which is wonderfully flavored. The coffee ceremony is delightful. The owner came by and was super nice. I think the kitchen closes at 10 but the place stays open much later for drinks and hanging out.

Delicious!!! A must try restaurant with kind staff! We will be back! Best shiro in the city.

The Red Sea Bar and Restaurant is authentic Ethiopian in Indianapolis. Having spent 12 years in Ethiopia, I know what authentic is. We ordered a vegetarian combo that consisted of 6 perfectly seasoned wot options as well as a salad served on fresh authentic teff injera all on a big round platter. This is a gem of a small restaurant with extremely friendly staff. I spoke to the owner and his wife in Amharic and enjoyed the Ethiopian music playing in the background. If you want Ethiopian, you can't go wrong here.

The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. I tried the Shiro and Awaze Tibsi and liked both. A sign on the door said they have live music some nights and a full bar.I recommend!
