According to Yelp, I haven't reviewed here since 2019, so well before covid. I used to frequent them fairly often and liked the food (and drink). Went after seeing a movie (at the theater right there on 69th & 96th), so super convenient. It was a Saturday evening but they were not super busy. We got seated at a high-top in the bar area. We ordered drinks, which were fine. Mine was beautiful but I didn't care for the taste much, but it was ok because I was experimenting / curious with what it was (the "Revolution") . My friend got an orgnaic margartia because she was assured that is gluten free (which she has to be - medically necessary). I can eat the chips & salsa (which are good) , but, after talking with or server, we learned the chips are not done in a designated fryer, so my friend ordered guacamole and corn tortillas. Well, they brought the guac out in a fried tortilla bowl. Which she had just explained that she cannot eat. Sigh. She skimmed a little guac off the top center, and I ate the rest. I ordered shrimp tacos which were totally plain shrimp but at least prepared well and came with all the fixins -- mango salsa, lettuce, tomato, guac, rice. I was pleased with all of that. My friend, who needs to be gluten free, ordered the chicken fajitas which they said they would clean off the grill for. It came out as a plate of chicken with some peppers and onions. No seasoning, not carmalized, barely cooked. You could tell they were scared to put nyhting on it. Then her side plate was all these beautiful other vegetables, beans, rice .. and served in those little tortilla bowls. Which she now expalins for the third time, she cannot eat. She asked can she please just have that food without the fried pieces. Both the waitress and then also a manager comes out. So they bring her back a pathetic little plate of beans. She asks, where are al the other vegetables that I was served befre? They were totally not understanding that she simply cannot have her food touched over the fried chips and bread. So then they did bring her a little plate of squash and borcolli back -- very plain. I told her at least she can take all that hand have a good lunch the next day when she cooks it and adds some seasonings, ha!With so many restaurant options out there, I might go back with the hubs (I live close) , but she definitely never would. And, I should note, her eating in Mexican restaurants is usually an easy thing, there are menu items that she knows are safe for her.#yum - sort of #ReviewsByRL

Stopped in after a rough day of car troubles. Let's just say I definitely needed a margarita. The vibes in this place are pretty great, they had Selena playing and it may have been the marg but I was feeling it for sure, no misses with the playlist. Our server was great, and attentive without being overbearing, and while my marg and my partner's drink were not served at the same time her drink arrived very shortly after. The chips, salsa, and queso were great, they hit the spot for sure and the drinks were strong which was much needed. The food was as some other reviews have mentioned was - okay. I got the al pastor and my partner got the Monterey quesadilla. I didn't try her quesadilla but she was underwhelmed. The presentation of the pastor was top notch so I had high expectations but it definitely lacked the flavor and spice I was expecting. For the price, I was not impressed and probably won't be returning for the food. Drinks and queso dip though - well that is a different story and a strong maybe.

Was my meal good? No. Will I be returning? Maybe! This was our first visit and I was a little disappointed. First let me say, the chips and salsa were absolutely delicious! Probably some of the best I've had in the city....and I've had a lot! Also, the margarita flight was amazing! Definitely worth the money. My girlfriend and I were able to share it and we both left with a nice buzz.I ordered the Rustico for my entree and it was pretty....meh. When I received my plate, I had to ask for a menu to make sure I wasn't tripping and I was not. The entire chicken breast had been left off so I sent it back and they just cut up some chicken and slid it onto a different plate...The meal itself was lacking in flavor and just not good. On top of that, our waitress disappeared for a long time so we ended up having to share a fork because mine was taken with my first plate.....ehSo would I return for the food? No, but I definitely would for the salsa and margaritas!

Disappointing. Lukewarm, flavorless nachos with dollar store tortilla chips. Should be renamed nachos güeros. Salsa served in a disposable condiment container.

I pass this restaurant almost everyday, and it's been on list of places to try. After a long Friday at work, my girlfriend and I went to Red Habanero for dinner. The service was decent, and I had no prominent complaints. The inside of the restaurant was clean and so was the restroom. We ordered a flight of margaritas which was very reasonably priced for the amount ($14-$15). The flight comes with 3 on the rocks margaritas of your choice. We got peach, mango, and strawberry (2 sugar rims, 1 salt). All of the margaritas were tasty and had a decent amount of alcohol in them.I ordered shrimp fajitas for my entree. The fajitas were okay. They didn't have a lot of flavor in my opinion. On a good note, there was enough food for me to get full off of. The tortilla chips and salsa were also plentiful.Honestly, if I were to go back then I would order drinks. A margarita flight, to be specific. Overall, I ended up spending around $70 including the tip (2 entrees and drink flight).

This place had moved into a different building across from its original location. The ambiance was really nice. A very clean and nicely decorated inside. The service was great as always. Idk if they make their chips but boy are they tasty! Some of the best I've had; although the salsa was not so great! My Birria juice lacked flavor and was very underwhelming. But so are a lot of restaurants that I've had. It did have potential and in no way was nasty. I had to ask for lime, cilantro and onion as only meat and cheese came on the tacos. My husband chicken pineapple bowl was very flavorful. He added steak and it was huge and VERY tender! I had a Cupcake moscato and it was only $5 Overall we will go again...

I don't know where to begin when it comes to singing the praises of this family owned local to Indianapolis business. This Fishers locale is very low-key but deserves to be recognized as the most extra! Someone had suggested that I take my little Mexican food and margarita group here for an evening, and I am so grateful for their referral. What a treasure trove of tequila, cerveza, and insanely delicious food!Approaching the restaurant, I immediately appreciated the large parking lot with complimentary parking available. It looks like they have a cute patio area, but it's still early in the season so that was closed for now. Then I see that they offer a 10% military discount to active and veteran serviceman... cue the slow applause. Respect! Then I finally make it through the front entrance and am taken back by the effort and detail they have put into setting up little areas throughout the restaurant for group pics and selfies. So fun! I arrived about 15-minutes before my large group reservation and took a seat at the bar to check out their margarita list. (Yes, they take reservations online!) I had a group of 10 expected, and they were nice enough to throw in two extra chairs for unexpected guests. Circling back to the drink list, no one will walk away thirsty from here. I went with the coconut margarita (a.k.a. the Coco Loco margarita), and appreciated the little extra razzle-dazzle from the bartender when he set fire to the coconut garnish in my drink. I love a good show! As I sat enjoying my drink at the bar, I looked around and saw more and more details that they had to take in time to maneuver. I mean Holograms?! So cool!So my group arrived and we were seated in the cutest area! You can see from my pics that they had really pretty blue leather chairs, bold and bright wallpaper, and a neon sign that spoke our language and made another area for cute photo ops. You immediately want to have a good time at this place!Service was impeccable. We had one server who got everything correct at our table. He had help from the staff, and it was nice to see them communicating in order to provide excellent service. Our server was extremely friendly and helpful by answering our questions. He was even nice enough to take a selfie with us at the end! One of the members of the group comes here regularly for lunch because he and his coworkers are so obsessed with it. I can see why! Everything was completely delicious, portions were huge, and the drinks will have you feeling warm in your soul. It's my understanding that they used to be located in the shopping center directly across the street, and they moved to this new location for more space. Greatly deserved, Red Habanero! Hats off to your crew! We will definitely be back to try your all day breakfast as well as more drinks from your extensive cocktail list. Cheers!

I had seen this restaurant so many time and finally decided to give it a try. I was very happy with tnat decision. The chips and salsa was good and abundant. I shared thr nachos with 2 others and it was the perfect amount of food. For drinks I had the margarita flight. I didn't realize it would be 3 full size margs. I was surprised that the price was only 15$. Great deal! The service was super friendly and food came out fast. The ambiance is clean and quaint. I will go again.

Went with a group on a late Saturday afternoon. They have the room for large groups which is nice. The staff also did a great job keeping the food and drinks coming. They have a large drinks and food menu so you'll definitely find something you'll like. Due to the size of our group we probably tried most everything. I only heard good comments. To me the guacamole and margaritas tell me if I will like a place. Their guacamole is excellent though the chips aren't my favorite. There are so many drink choices it's hard to pick one but I went with a organic mezcal which was very good. Also large so I stuck with one. All drinks are large and got great reviews from the group. I had the Spinach Enchiladas with black beans and rice. Excellent choice!I would definitely go back again

A fun and lively setting for Tex Mex. The menu is vast. There are a lot of vegetarian options which is something I look for when eating out. The service was efficient and positive.
