Raintree Inn

The room we were given had poop in the toilet, wouldn't flushed and beds had been used, we got a refund and would never suggest this place to anyone!!

This is a small town hotel for sure. I had called to make reservations for a co-worker and I. They asked if we wanted the 'new' part ($75/night) or the 'old' part ($55/night). I opted for the 'new' part. The phone call took forever as the front desk person had to enter the information in 3 times. He gave me the room numbers once the booking was done (very odd). When we got to the hotel, the front desk person had two rooms booked but one was a suite for over $100/night. I don't think so!!!! Luckily they had another room available.They have plenty of parking. The outside of the place is falling apart. It really needs some TLC. The hallway floors were clean but the walls were just dirty. The rooms themselves were clean. I was very happy to find them clean (I really had to wonder if they would be). However, the walls and ceilings need repaired. The outlets in the bathroom did not work.Would I recommend staying here...eh, if you have to stay in New Castle, ok. Otherwise, find a better place.

The first room I got had been used and not cleaned. The tv and phone didn't work. I requested a room change and the second room was clean but didn't have towels. I had to stay here because of events in town had all hotels booked. I finally had to resort to staying here and my room was finally right after 3 trips to the office.

This was a horrible room. Asked for King and got two queens. The room smelled. Was there two days and the room was not maid up. There was no ice. The remote did not work. We had to plug in the lights. Crazy I don't know how the hotel is in business.

Apparently it is under new management and now it sucks. It looks like a ghost town every time you pass it. I use to have family stay here when they were in town but never again. I would have them stay in a tent in my yard before I would ever have them stay here again. Gross! Stay at the hotel with the Big Shoe better service and it looks a lot nicer.

As I entered the lobby, I found the window to my left shattered, and a pervasive smell of cigarette smoke accosted my nostrils. No staff appeared to assist me for nearly 30 minutes. The check-in process was slow, and once I had arrived at my room, a new stench accosted me; something of cyanoacrylate if I were pressed to give it a name. A coarse dust layered the floor of the room, the hand towels were old and covered in debris, and the bath towels were missing entirely. Although the neighbors were noisy, the beds were clean and comfortable, and I slept well. The check-out process was just as lengthy as check-in. Overall, a lackluster experience.

Meth addict paradise! I ended up in two different rooms. First room was filthy. Walls, floors, tables, curtains and shower curtains were disgusting and it stunk like heavy body odor and smoke. Shower curtain was bent, punch holes in bathroom door, and the ceilings were discolored. Second room tv did not work and the first tv was so blurry you couldnt watch it. Cleaner than the other room but still not suitable for guests. Pool had been closed for at the minimum a year. People live there as well and they aren't the upstanding citizen type.

Dirty, run down. Placed in a non-smoking room that had obviously had smokers. Broken glass in picture frame. Broken light fixtures. Need I say more.
