I had a wonderful experience during my golf club fitting at The Academy with Matt Glenn. Matt did a great job and was very professional, I couldn't have asked for a better person to help me. We had a private after-hours dinner served for a large family gathering, with an original limited menu created just for us by Chef Nick Huffman in the Covered Wagon. The service was stellar, and the food was superior to anything I have had in a very long time. Chef Nick provided three menu options of his creations, including "Mango Salmon", "Chicken Marsala", and "Hoosier Hot Plate". I split the Mango Salmon and Hoosier Hot Plate (beer-battered and deep-fried custom cut pork tenderloin w/peppered gravy) with my brother, and both dishes were excellent, with the fish being very tender and juicy, the tenderloin being the best I have ever tried in the entire state of Indiana. The presentation was also very impressive! One of the best golf courses in Indiana that I have played. The course is very well kept along with computerized mapping of each hole. Close to home and we'll priced...A must see!

We had our wedding at prairie view golf club this past September, IT WAS ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS. Everything was perfect and exceeded our expectations: from the way the room was decorated, awesome outside view, to your courteous staff, not to mention The food was super DELICIOUS. We received so many great compliments from our guests regarding your beautiful venue and top-notch food. Everyone raved about their dinner, especially those who had the steak. It was cooked to perfection. Thank you so much for helping things run so smoothly and helping create the memories that we will have for years to come. We had a wedding reception at Prairie View in May, 2015. Our experience was fantastic from the moment we were greeted! Keltie Domina was as professional and caring in her role as Food & Beverage Director as anyone could ask for! She was welcoming, efficient and creative in her suggestions! Our event went flawlessly and her staff met our every need! The food was delicious and a great value! Highly recommended!! The grounds are beautiful and the location was great!! We are very grateful!!

This is for sure the most challenging course in all of metro Indy. Something to try once but Don't play regularly unless you are a pro or above average skill level. I needed a driver on a par 3 just to get to the green! There's really no rough. Just out of bounds tall grass. The first par 3 on the back 9 is almost impossible to play without a perfect tee shot. The course was pretty, but my score not so much lol.

High quality golf course. By most metrics, it's considered the most difficult in the state, and it's certainly pricey, but you get a solid value. Nice mix of woods and fields. Lots of water! It's a Top 10 course in Indiana, but not Top 5

Great layout. Scenic - houses border the course in only two areas and are outside the field of play. River runs along 5 holes.An upscale public course - heather abounds and sometimes slows play - if you haven't played there play the white tees. Low handicappers will find the gold tees a good challenge.Enjoy

Don't waste your time being nickel and dimed by this sham of a course. Had to travel up here for the boys state and even though I was the head coach I still had to pay $35 a day for a cart and $50 for a pathetic sized cooler. Hopefully the IHSAA will do the right thing and not play here in 2020. Not a bad looking course but not near as good as they think they are.
