The Poplar Pub in Terre Haute Indiana has a fun atmosphere and is a great spot to hang out with friends or watch sports games! The food menu ranges from appetizers to salads to sandwiches to burgers and more. Monday night offers a 10 inch pizza special and it appears that there is sometimes live music and karaoke nights. Don't be deceived because this spot is located in a shopping strip, the food is spectacular, and the drinks are served quickly. Cool atmosphere, our server was attentive, and the place was very clean. Decent beers on tap. Wish they had more Indiana beers represented.My deluxe pizza was good. Expensive for such a small pizza, but tasty. Cooked perfectly.My wife loved the cauliflower crust pizza due to her being gluten free. She got it with bacon and onion. Took it home and loved the leftovers!The friends we were with had the whiskey river BBQ burger and stated it was one of the worst burgers they have ever had. Said it was just a frozen patty that was overcooked and dry, the bun was falling apart and dry as well. They said the toppings were just OK. All in all a good experience. 2 small pizzas (10" and 12") and 3 drinks (one cocktail and two draft beers) came to $62 before tip. That's a bit steep.Will I go back? Yup. Worth a second snd third trip for sure.

This was my second (and last) time at this bar. I really don't care to even enumerate the MANY shortcomings of our visit tonight.

Service is excellent. Prices are reasonable and the thin crust pizza is just yummy!!!

I went there a few times and always on Fridays. The place was pretty loud but I can understand that with the place being square with nothing to absorb the noise. Pizza was okay but nothing special. $3.00 cover at 6pm was my turnoff as it was just some guy telling jokes sitting on a box. Very little seating.

We had high hopes for this place. It's modern and well-built. Nice decor. The main focus of the limited menu is burgers and pizza. We opted for the whiskey glazed burgers. Poor choice. The burger patties were frozen price club style and dry as a bone. The buns were crunchy... almost stale. The "caramelized" onions were just limp and white. No hint of the promised Swiss cheese. We had the jalapeño poppers for an appetizer. They weren't breaded but they were good. 2 burgers, an appetizer and 3 beers brought the total to $60. Service was good, but still learning the ropes. The overall value wasn't great.

I'm very excited about this new neighborhood watering hole! The food is standard pub food (burgers, pizza etc). The drinks are tasty and the staff is friendly. I will definitely return soon.

Great place for after work meet. Service at the bar is good. Friendly staff. Bands, pizza is great and they also serve a bucket of bacon! Small bucket, but bacon! Keto snack!
