Service was terrific and the setting was wonderful for a family meal. In general food was great maybe a little pricy. I had the special of the evening a 8oz. Filet, cooked rare (exactly how I requested), but a little heavy on the special sauce. Would have preferred to taste more of the steak. We would most likely return while visiting family.

I entered the lounge area and was immediately advised by Annette, that they had so many reservations so we couldn't be sat at the tables. She stated that their were two spots at the bar we could sit at and proceeded to guide me over (bf was parking the car) - I noticed their were two empty tables but when going to the bar, the second waitress stopped her and told her the bar seats were for reservations as well. This prompted Annette to tell me we would need to leave by 7, it was 5:50 at the time. I thought that was the most rudest thing to say, so I told her that would depend on how quickly the kitchen makes our food. The garlic bread and meatballs were delicious but the stroganoff was not that great - the meat was very chewy and the noodles seemed under boiled. Our tiramisu was pretty good as well but I'm sure it's not made in house. I also had the worst glass of Riesling for $9 - the brand is Kendall-Jackson and per google, that's a $16 bottle, cheap wine should not be priced as such per the glass. We agreed the meatballs were a good decision to add on or I would have felt like I had wasted $60. Honestly, it feels like I did anyways. We left around 6:30 and a couple who had been sitting next to us had already left so their were now four free seats at the bar and two empty booths - for the many reservations of course. Just to point out, the lounge area isn't big enough to hold "so many" people, theirs literally 10 tables and 6 bar chairs - where would the "so many" be seated? We agreed we would take future orders to go IF we wanted the meatballs again or to try something new but this place was out of the way, so that may not happen.

Homemade pasta was excellent! I had the veal piccata and my husband had the pasta bolognese. Drinks were good. Desserts looked too good to pass up so we took them home. Lovely atmosphere. We were there late afternoon so it wasn't busy but I'm sure it is later.

The veal picotta and lamb chops were very tasty. I loved the homemade pasta, and the lemon wine picotta sauce. Not a fan of the Bronzini fish dish with broccoli. Fish was strong tasting and disappointing. Wait staff was lovely and helpful. Atmosphere was homey and authentic Italian.

I appreciated the many vegetarian options. We had the eggplant parmigiana and ziti with mushrooms and an Alfredo sauce. I'd get either again. I'd recommend getting a reservation. We made one less than an hour before we arrived and they were able to accommodate us.

The service was great. A young man was our server. The bread was dry, I liked the flavor but not the dryness. The lasagna was sweet in taste way too sweet and not enough noodles to find. Then the chicken Marsala was also way too sweet! The noodles were great in the dish if the sauce wasn't so sugary. Over all food grade is 2. Service 5.

I enjoy going to Piloni's for lunch. The food is usually really good. Most lunches are in the $10-13 range and include garlic bread. They have a good selection of smaller fares for lunch than the larger dinner portions. If you haven't tried it, you should.

We were here for a birthday. It took an hour to get our food and more than 90 minutes more to get our check. No one refilled water. No one checked on us. I felt like I was a bother.
