Pho 88

Now named Shiba Pho. We have ordered carryout from here before and had ordered from here when it used to be Pho 88. Both have had delicious food. I wanted to review our first time dining in last night at Shiba Pho. We stopped in for a quick bite. By our fault, it was about 40 minutes before closing time, so I felt bad for the sweet man that runs/owns the restaurant. He was so kind to make our daughter a special dish of meat with broccoli and rice on the side. She absolutely loved it and gobbled it all up! My husband had the hot and spicy beef soup and I had the pho special. Both were generous portions and delicious! We will definitely continue to order from here often. The restaurant was clean with plenty of tables for dining and had a cozy atmosphere.

...A solid 3.5, but I'll round up because it's a unique restaurant in Brownsburg. We came in right in the middle of their dinner rush and we greeted and seated quickly. Their menu is very interesting with some uncommon Vietnamese dishes found on there. We ended up ordering the pho and the Vermicelli salad with pork. The pho broth was definitely one of the better ones I've tasted; rich in spices. I was a bit disappointed that it didn't come with any greens to put in the soup--usually basil or cilantro. The salad was also delicious with crispy pork and a cut egg roll in it. It was definitely a very good meal. Looking forward to coming back to this place again when I'm in the area. Kind of a hole-in-the-wall type of place but everything appeared clean and well kept.

My first time here was absolutely terrific - this time around...not so much. I'm not even sure what this meat is mixed with my braised beef but it's not braised beef...

First off this place was originally Jenny's Pho, then Pho 88, and now Shiba Pho however the entrance sign still says Pho 88 so it can be confusing. I went there to order to go. There was no one else inside and there were two people working. They were both nice and offered me water while I waited. They did a great job packing the food. I ordered the seafood pho and two brisket pho. It was delicious, the broth was so savory and flavorful and my kids said the brisket was tender. I did wish there was more seafood in my pho but overall we were all happy with our meal. I will definitely be going back again.

Stopped by to dine in for lunch and really enjoyed it! The staff was friendly and helpful as I ordered, and I was pleasantly surprised that I could substitute beef broth for chicken broth in my pho. I usually add chili oil to my pho to add spice, but I tried adding sriracha at my server's recommendation, and it was delicious! The fried dumplings were also crispy, crunchy, and paired very well with the sauce they came with. The inside of the restaurant was peaceful, and I had a very pleasant meal overall

This is Pho 88 but under new ownership. I'm so glad they are finally open because I've been craving a banh mi for a few weeks now. I liked how crispy the crab rangoons were, but they could definitely use a bit more filling.I ordered a pork banh mi on white bread. Overall, the sandwich was good but I was definitely missing some cilantro and the pickled veg that traditionally come with a banh mi. I did get a bit more flavor by add some Sriracha sauce to the sandwich. Definitely will be back to try some pho.

First visit since they changed ownership and I am blown away. The brisket Pho was tender and incredibly flavorful. Service was quick and professional. Don't let the mom and pop vibe fool you there are some excellent chefs in the back packing heat.

I've been slacking lately on my reviews as work has been super hectic. However, I would be remiss if I don't take the time to give this spot a solid review. I've read where this is now under new management but regardless, the food is still yummy. It's a small place but their staff, which typically consists of somebody behind the cash register, a cook and someone who takes orders are nice and friendly. The interior can use some sprucing up to make it more inviting which explains the 4 stars. Otherwise foos is solid - I ordered the spicy beef noodle soup and it did not disappoint.

The food was amazing as always. They were a bit short staffed today but I didn't mind the small wait. It's always so relaxed, I'm not sure if it's the spa music or what exactly but it helps you relax while enjoying your meal.

Pho 36 is hands down the best. The food, the owners - the best!! We eat in, pickup and have it door dashed. Never been disappointed!
