Penn Station East Coast Subs

A solid Penn Station location.I've been here a few times and this location never seems to disappoint. Great staff, friendly service and good food. Exactly what you would expect from Penn Station. This location does not have a drive-thru. The parking lot is a little bit on the small side. Being that those are the only two negative things I have to say, there's no reason that I can think of to not stop in and visit this location.Would I go back? Yes I would. It is set back a little bit from the main road, but it's definitely worth looking for. It's not on the main 747 strip, nor can you see it from there, so keep your eye out. And don't forget to grab at least two of the best cookies of any fast food chain that I can think of!

Definitely one of the lesser Penn Stations we've been to. It took about 20 minutes for us to get our food. Even though it was prime dinner time they weren't even busy, maybe 2 people in front of us. They were very obviously understaffed. Everybody in line was baffled at how long they were taking. When you allow a restaurant to be run understaffed the money you save on labor is probably less than half the money that you're going to be losing in dropped business because of how long it takes to get your food.About 10 minutes into the wait I decided to check out their yelp page to see if this was a freak occurrence at this place or not..NOPE..the majority of the bad reviews were all about the wait. So not just a bad night..a very badly run location overall.When the food finally got to us it was wrong. I asked for no tomatoes and there were tomatoes all over it. I wasn't going to ask them to fix it because it was easy enough to just pick them off but it added insult to injury..they took that long and couldn't even get the order correct.They also waaaay over seasoned these sandwiches. I love their Italian sub, and the seasoning adds to the overall greatness of it..but that day I learned too much of it really brings the taste way down.I'm only giving this place an extra star because in the end the sandwich was still pretty good..which speaks to how great of a product they have. But seriously, with so many other locations nearby with much better service and quality, there is absolutely no reason whatsoever to ever come back to this location.Side note: I used to come to this location a lot..many years ago..and it was fine. So something must have happened with their management in the meantime for the overall quality here to be so bad these days.

Ordered food to eat in. Wasn't told until after we paid and food was done that we could not eat it in. Had to eat messy food in the car.

We live near this location and have tried and tried again to get food here but the service is TERRIBLE! Today, we called to place an order and a young man proceeded to answer the phone saying "pennstationbeckett" in one word and very rushed. He barely let my husband finish telling him the first sandwich before he said "is that all..." He was very unprofessional throughout the interaction. We will not be returning to this location. There is a very nice location in Fairfield.

While the service can sometimes be questionable at times over the years, they seemed to really up their training, staff and management here. there is genuinely not a better sub-chain out there then Penn station. I took my friend from Canada and the United Kingdom to try this classic American subway place, and they were nearly brought to tears (not even joking) from how good it was compared to their subs. East coast don't play with their subs

Every time I go to this location the staff is always so nice and welcoming. Tyler always greets me and it's refreshing to see someone as upbeat and as positive as this man!Me and my two boys go here twice a month or so.. maybe more.. and the food is always perfect.

Unacceptable. I placed order for pickup for 1215. I got there at 12:02. Was told it would be a minute since I was early. Not a problem. I didn't receive my food until 12:30.Should be noted I didn't get fries only 2 small sandwiches. Meanwhile multiple people came in and placed order in person and received their food first. I also encountered a very rude employee who was upset that they were busy and pretty much threw my food at me.I don't understand what's the point of selecting a time if the order isn't going to be ready. Especially since I was early..

Seriously lady!? She said I can't read it on my phone sorry because I don't see it!? What the fuck is wrong with her how she can read on the internet huh?! Because I'm deaf. Wow, it's so very rude!

Fantastic food, service, and all of the above. Staff always goes above and beyond, food is always excellent. Top tier, consistent and delicious!

You never know when they're going to be open and they don't answer when you call. Not a friend you can count on.
