I am 6 months into my year lease, and I am very happy with my decision to choose Penn Circle over many other Carmel apartment complexes. The apartment I live in is spacious with great windows and a patio door that allows for good amount of sun light. The entire staff of Penn Circle led by Missy is friendly and attentive to any needs that might arise. They treat the renter like "family" and not just another renter. If you are looking to rent in Carmel, you will not find a better deal than what you can get in this complex. Shopping and entertainment (some in walking distance) all close by makes Penn Circle a very attractive option for you.

I have Absolutely loved living at penn circle apartments. I have lived here for almost 3 years and have been beyond satisfied. The office staff (Missy being the property manager and Alexis leasing manager) are so wonderful. If you need anything or have any questions they are right on top of it. They have made our community so much fun by having college nights, pool parties, Saturday brunches, and food trucks so you can get to know them and our neighbors a little better. The grounds and the apartment themselves are very nice. Everything is updated...granite countertops, appliances, fixtures etc. and the maintenance guys are very friendly and quick to respond. The area is very safe. Meijer and bars/restaurants is just a 5 min walk away. The fire pit, grill area, gym, and pool are also very nice to have. I would give this place a 10 out of 5 stars if I could bc of the safe community, great staff, and fun overall atmosphere.

***Updating in response to Inland. I will not contact you offline as I reported this issue to the headquarters. It's bad business to deny a $13,000 cash-in-hand payment. Anyone can understand that. We found a beautiful home to rent with a landlord that actually cares about people. You might consider actually caring about people.

I moved here in May 2018, and I really like the place. I'm 67 and hadn't lived in an apartment for 40 years. The buildings and grounds are clean and well-maintained. It's quiet and within walking distance to Meijer and numerous restaurants. Good equipment in their exercise room. The pool is popular on summer weekends. My kitchen has granite counters, nice appliances, and a decent amount of room. The management is young and wants to please. I can't think of anything negative except that I look forward to nearby roundabout construction being completed.

I loved living here (1 year lease) mostly because of the great space I had. My apartment had great new appliances, granite and nice laminate flooring. The staff was always so kind to me when I had questions and made an effort to organize fun activities each month. The area was very safe, I loved walking to shops and restaurants in the summer. The pool was fantastic and the fire pit is such a fun feature for when you have some friends over. This was a great value for the price.

I had to post my compliments to the people at this property and did not want to be remiss as it has been a while since I visited. So often people just post when they have a bad experience. I came with my girlfriend who is moving to Carmel to work here and we had a short window to find a place. The manager I believe her name is Melissa showed us and made sure she had addressed all our needs, except the one she could not.. .timing. So rather than just shove us back on the street, she actually called other communities in the area and helped us make a list to visit. We were able to find a home because of her help. My now fiancé and I agree although we are happy in our community we would be happier living in a community ran by such a selfless staff - so we will be moving to where ever this young lady might be working when our lease is up. Thank you!!

I lived here for a year and I would have lived longer. It was very close to work and the apartment we lived in (Bamboo) was great for the price. The management has switched a couple times which happens and there was a spell where the management was unhelpful. However, this was corrected in a short period of time. The grounds are always in great condition and I never felt unsafe leaving my bimmer in the parking lot. The apartment itself was modern to me and of course everything was basically brand new. I was straight out of college living in a hick Indiana town so it was night and day.Penn circle has a lot of merits but like every most other places it has it's faults. The windows are pretty awful as are the hardwood floors when it comes to sound. I'm not the norm though. I have top notch hearing and consider myself an audiophile. I had a fat neckbeard below me who would open his window in below freezing weather. While his window open and mine closed I could make out conversations that were going on down below while trying to sleep. I could also hear his music during the morning through the hardwood floor (who the hell blares music on a workday morning?).The fire pit was another issue when it came to sound. Living in an affluent apartment you have a lot of rich kids who don't work and live off mommy and daddy. During the summer months they tend to stay outside around the fire pit. This lasts until midnight sometimes unless someone calls the police on them for being to loud which actually happened. Like I said before, I have great hearing. People who have average to sub optimal hearing won't even notice these issues. Overall I would have stayed another year at Penn Circle if not for living in a house.

When the property was managed by Glick I had no issues and it was generally a positive experience. The management company has since changed hands twice and I moved for other reasons. Today I received my deposit refund or what part they couldn't find a reason to keep and I'm very disappointed. It is a Tuesday afternoon and I have since tried calling several times over the past hour and a half for clarification on this matter only to be welcomed by a recording stating the office is closed (1:30PM -3PM) what type of business is closed during these hours? Anyways they have illegally charged me for basic carpet cleaning which under Indiana law falls under basic wear and tear. They have neglected to return my $300 refundable pet deposit fee I paid with Glick and was on my lease ( the new management company's pet deposit is non-refundable). And calls to Penn Circle and their management company Community Property Management Corp have all been met with out of the office voice mails. This is shady way of doing business and therefore I warn anyone thinking of moving there.

Lived here for over 2 years. Absolutely love this apartment. Maintenance is friendly and quick at responding and fixing problems. I was drawn here because of the amazing security features. I really liked that you had to have a key to get into the building and then another to get into the apartment. The mailboxes are also all inside, and the front desk accepts all packages instead of leaving them outside your apartment. Would highly recommend living here.
