So this place is sick. And I mean like the bomb .com. Its amazing. I went once just to see what was there since I live so close, and I think I've gone back like...six times in the last three weeks? I just keep finding random awesome crap. Like a vintage floor lamp for $12 bucks, random architectural salvage turned art (tin celings? seriously? yes. yes. yes.), oil paintings, brand new beautiful rugs for suuuuper cheap, antiques, a giant letter L for my last name, really nice furniture for cheap (and I'm not just saying that), and a bunch of stuff to turn into other stuff, cuz I like to do that. Its sort of dirty inside and the outside looks a little rough but if you're expecting something different out of a flea market, you should go home. I'd actually say its better than a lot I've seen. The people inside weren't even shady either. I feel like that's compulsory at a flea market, but not here! This place is my favorite!!!

For several years, a non-profit that I supported had a rather large booth inside Peddlers Mall, an Eastside flea market that has seen better days and the most dominant business that still happens to be open inside a retail strip that has also seen massively better days. A year or two ago, the non-profit closed their booth and actually closed as an organization. As a result, I've not been back to Peddlers Mall before my rather random visit today that occurred precisely because I was in the area and remembered an incense vendor here who had really great prices and I wondered if they were still around. They were! So, I picked up a few packs of incense at $1 each and left Peddlers Mall a fairly happy camper. If you don't know this strip center, it's the same one that also includes the free-standing Blueberry Hill, a rather blue-collar but beloved breakfast joint that is probably the nicest place in this corner. That's not saying much.It appears that real estate developer CBRE may have become involved with this corner - this could potentially be a good sign as it may mean some long-needed renovations may be in order. We'll have to wait and see, though I did notice a couple smaller retailers in the area seemed to have opened up shop along with one storefront ministry. Peddlers Mall has been in this location for years. As has been noted, though I personally think overstated, it's a run-down flea market and, yes, it currently does have more vacancies than usual. I've seen very few flea markets in Indy that I would consider "clean" and I don't think that Peddlers Mall is that far out of the ordinary. That said, it certainly is run down and it sure seems like even in the time that my friend's booth has been gone it has gone somewhat downhill. There's semi-formal accessible parking, though it's not particularly well marked. It's certainly not ADA compliant. The curb cut at the entrance is in disrepair to the point that anyone with some upper body issues will struggle a bit. Again, there's a curb cut there but it sure doesn't qualify as accessible. There's a double doorway entry, both glass doors, and even the entryways are in some disrepair. For the most part, the aisles inside are relatively accessible - or at least wide enough for a wheelchair. However, there are certainly exceptions within booths. When my friend's booth was open, it was stellar but that was because he was very aware of accessibility and made sure of it. The biggest reasons for the 3 star rating rather than low? The people here have always been friendly and helpful. From all that I've heard from my friend, they were good as landlords as well. While there are quite a few booths vacant right now, there's still quite the selection ranging from mattress booths (all wrapped in plastic), books/music, incense, housewares, tattoo supplies, and pretty much all the other stuff you expect from a flea market. Prices, for the most part, are reasonable. Peddlers Mall is certainly not a destination flea market. It would be absurd to drive out of your way to visit it. The parking lot is, indeed, filled with pot holes, though you can certainly make your way through the parking lot without hitting them. This particular retail center has been neglected for years and pretty much the entire strip center looks in distress and even the buffet that used to be located across the strip center closed primarily due to rougher clientele. However, I love my incense and for 5 bucks I got enough to last me quite a while. So, since I was in the area anyway it was worth a stop. Besides, I've had my tetanus shot. I'm good.

This place is awesome! Its got all the essentials and all the stuff you definitely never knew you needed or things that you definitely don't need but might buy out of nostalgia! They have everything from housewares to weapons or old school electronics. Prices are as reasonable as you'd expect and this place will definitely give you plenty of free entertainment!

If I could have given a minus star I would have! This place is so gross! From the horrible driveway full of massive potholes to the rank incense smell permeating the building! I've been to many Peddlers and Vendors malls but never any this disgusting! Half the booths are empty the others filled with random crap probably from dumpster dives! Heed my advice for pickers and people who enjoy treasure hunts...DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! And if you do dare to venture in, don't forget your hand sanitizer!!

New staff every time I go in, but I can see that they're trying to make changes. Some of the booths are excellent! Others need to clean up. Found some really great bargains that were cheaper than what I'd find at a yard sale, and stuff that I need for my house.

If you're in the market for some off-brand deodorant, slightly musty pre-read romance novels, or a new bong, this is the place to go. In case you misread my sarcasm, this place houses a lot of garage sale crap and what is obviously a couponer's haul of off brand toiletries. It used to have decent flea market finds, and it's a big place, so maybe if you dig deep you'll find something worth it, but you'll definitely need a shower after.

I was just accused of theft of 2 packs of $1.25 magic erasers!! I had two of them in my hand and went and looked at other merchandise in other booths when an employee came and accused me of stealing them in front of everyone!!! I obviously didn't steal them , she asked me to take them out of my pocket and give them to her , I told her I don't have them in my pockets are you serious!!? so I showed her where I sat them down and when I decided not to buy them at the moment.. the employee woman seen she was so wrong in a big way and try to clean up her accusations by now the problem is moving merchandise from what place in the store to another!! absolutely rediculous, and embarrassing. I showed her I was there to ship, showed her my cash and debit card.. I shop there all the time well I used to I'm sure this is some type of lawsuit ,infact I'm almost positive it is!!

It is great place to find to treasures but warning older section has flashing lights so I I am still hoping they improve that issue when ever they get a chance to make it better and improve the look on the outside to make the place brighter and more eye catching
