Payless Supermarket

I still give this supermarket five stars however, with this rating, I'm anticipating that perhaps they might consider their customers' time and effort with regard to digital coupons. I prefer to make my shopping trips as quickly and as efficient as possible. That means I do not appreciate having to clip digital coupons either in the store or before I arrive. Why should I have to spend my time shopping twice? I have my location services on, I do not understand why every single coupon is not loaded under my profile the moment I walk through those doors.I believe this is something that I get at Meijer, where are you Payless? Put your customers first -- give them the best value because you certainly have a great products!

Hovering between 2 and 3 stars. Why are all of the Kroger/Payless checkers so unfriendly. I long for Trader Joe's. I long for Meijers.But my main issue with this site is design. For such a large building there is very little choice. Many aisles are devoted to housewares, shampoos etc. and that ridiculous 'seasonal items'aisle. I understand folks expect some of this in a grocery but the percentage of this fluff to the amount of actual food is way off balance here. Ah, profit margins. I get it but I don't have to rate it high. And they're new change, integrating the health foods throughout the store, just has me coming even less frequently. I find better elsewhere.

My wife and I come here a couple times a week for our fresh fruits and vegetables. We like the fuel points that you get here too! We will buy all of our Christmas gift cards here. When we go on vacation we buy the gift cards that we need for airplane tickets and anything else we can think of. Also if you have a big project at home and need to go to Lowe's, we buy our gift cards there too. We get them for going out to eat too.We enjoy coming here for our needs!

This is my main go to for groceries but the customer service literally sucks at the front desk and pharmacy! This is the 2nd time, today once again my husband and I were at the service desk to make a purchase and we had to wait for the clerk to have a half hour conversation with a customer while we and 4 other customers waited for 10 minutes or more for them to finish that had nothing to do with the store or work! The pharmacy on the other hand couldn't figure out why my prescription was called into another store even though I called the phone number on my prescription bottle which was their store. The pharmacy technician obviously didn't give a s***t ! I'm over with dealing with humans that don't care! Maybe some businesses should turn to robots! They could definitely get your prescription done in a reasonable amount of time! My husband said I was too nice!

The gentleman working the deli this afternoon was great. He was very kind and professional even when there was a long line. Being the only one working the deli, yet it was still efficient!

Rude incompetent. Takes forever to fill prescriptions they just close the pharmacy down at all hours. There are some really nice employees in the store part but the management does not care if you are satisfied or not and they definitely don't care or try too get you to come back. Horrible place on meridian St.

Pretty sad when you have to bag your groceries and there's at least 6 employees just standing around. Guess it's turning into an Aldi. I don't care to bag my groceries but when you can't get a signal in there to get your coupons that stinks. And get told oh sorry for that. Give me at least 10% off when I'm doing your job

I try staying home out of the stores yet this is what you get from Kroger/Payless on Scatterfield. I sent the OPENED bacon back to the store, just so no one can say this is not accurate

I have recently been becoming a regular at payless and while they do have really good sales and decent prices. Their bakery department needs serious help. Specifically referring to whomever makes their doughnuts. The doughnuts aren't even ready and out until 8. They are very plain and ugly. Someone really badly needs trained or something. Not to mention come in earlier. In my experience doughnuts are ready and case full with a good variety by the time a store opens. .

Don't go there on weekends. That's unless you enjoy getting upset and walking out. This has happened to me twice now: I go in to buy one or two items. When going to the checkout, I see only two or three cashiers there. There are two islands with self-checkouts and one is always closed. At the same time, there are all of these people standing in line to checkout. I just left my item and walked out both times. It sounds to me like management needs to get it in geer.
