Wet friendly staff, treat you like family when you walk in! The food is always hot and delicious. I've only gotten the beef patties as those are their big sellers for lunch. So I've not tried the chicken, but sounds great too. It's just a little store front that the family has kept going since his dad passed, but also has the feel of a little road side Jamaican hut selling patties. Give it a try, it's a great place!

Parking: is scarce and pretty tight as there are multiple businesses in the strip that attract heavy traffic flow (during lunch). I completely spaced grabbing their business hours but I know for a fact they are odd (my mom used to get food from here during my childhood and teen years) so call ahead just to hear the hours if you would be traveling out of your way., this food has consistently been jam packed with flavor for decades... the owner is super personable & interested in seeing familiar faces in his place of business. The menu is limited but everything on it is a specialty. Jamaican Pattie's 10/10, rice & peas 10/10, chicken wings 10/10, curry chicken & veggies 10/10!!!!! The only thing that is a drawback is the wait... I came in randomly & had time to spare which is the only reason I was okay with waiting for 40min! This is a mom & pop spot - there's the owner & maybe 2 or 3 workers at once.... You're not getting food that's been sitting all day because from the time they open their doors until they close, it's busy. They do offer frozen pre-made Pattie's so you can take & bake at home, which is lovely! Patties of Jamaica is a small little hole-in-the-wall, but its quaint charm and consistent service make it a treasure worth visiting. I dream about it on a regular basis, even though I haven't been there in a while. The fluffy dough and delicious, meaty, moist filling make each patty melt in your mouth. I've never had a disappointing patty from here. Keep in mind that it might still be cash only, but the incredible taste is well worth the trip to the ATM.

My family and friends have been coming here for over 30 years. They have the best chicken wings you'll ever taste and their patties are phenomenal. The best hidden gem in Indianapolis without question!

Headed to my dentist in Broadripple I drove by this strip mall area El fearing if this little Jamaican place still existed. They had the most DELICIOUS beef Pattie's. I stopped by after finding it on Yelp and cannot believe it is still here after 10 years! I'm so happy they survived Covid and all the problem restaurants had!!The owner is sooo kind and has the cutest Jamaican accent! Please come and try this place and help support this small business! They no longer have the oxtail soup if you are wondering.

I was buying a meal from another restaurant in the shopping complex. I came across this restaurant. So, I checked it out. There is no space to eat inside. I asked for a takeout of a beef patty for $1.75. The crust was crusty. The beef tasted like ground beef. What else can I say except I got what I paid for. However, I was thinking because it was related to Jamaica that maybe it would have more flavor like jerk in the meat.They have $2.25 chicken patty but are made to order so it would have been a 20 min. wait.

Undeniably the Patties in Indianapolis from the most unassuming storefront off Allisonville Road!The patties here are amazing at a terrific value. Offered both frozen or hot, you can satisfy that craving on site or you can stock your freezer. If you buy by the dozen they're an absolute bargain.Pro-Tip: 1) The frozen vegetarian patties sell out fast and aren't made everyday, stock up if available 2) Bake from frozen on a baking sheet for 25 minutes at 375, the center should be firm / crisp *do not flip the patties*

My family loves this place, and they make a visit when coming from Cincinnati. The patties are amazing and great for freezing to quickly cook for a quick meal.
