I'm not sure why I've driven past this bakery for 10 years and not stopped in. Today as I was leaving Ginza I wanted to check out the bakery for flan. I love a good flan WITH a sauce and try at most bakery and restaurants.I was greeted as I entered the colorful and spacious bakery. Tables are available if you want to dine in. Two large cupboards are filled with cookies and treats. The cake cases, behind the counter, are full of beautiful cakes ready to carry out or you can order a custom cake. The menu is posted under my review which consists of 3 flavors of de leches and 7 flavors of cakes with 7 filling options. Give them a couple days to prepare a special order. The cakes are beautiful in the cases. They range in price from $33 to $60'sh. They will work with you to get exactly what you want.Unfortunately all they had was an extremely large flan but out of the smaller size (like 10"). I'm going to preorder a smaller flan next time I need one and note they do not sell individual pieces of flan. I did purchase a half-dozen of tasty butter cookies which got a thumbs up from my family. The selection is good, afforable prices, speaks English well, friendly owner and staff with a comfortable ambience. Stop in and check out their selection of cookies, pastries, cakes, flans and more!

My daughter bought me a piece of the Tres Leches Cake for my birthday She knows how much I prefer that over a regular piece of cake! She did some research and found this place on Yelp. I've had a couple of really good Tres Leches cakes before (and a few that were ok) but I believe this one IS the best that I've had!The cake has a very pleasing texture to it and has the right amount of cream moistness to it. Topped off with whipped cream, strawberries, and some little slivers of dark chocolate, mm, mm, good!Sorry for not much left to photograph. I just got a text back from my daughter about where she bought this wonderful cake at!

Best cake bakery in town. Period. And no matter if they only offer Mexican style cakes and goodies, they are perfection. We always order from these guys for every occasion. I highly suggest the Mocha Tres Leches cake that has that amazingly moist and delicious texture a regular Tres Leches Cake has plus a hint of chocolate/coffee. A major fan favorite! Another big winner is the chocoflan, a flan (Mexican custard dessert) that is attached to a fantastic chocolate cake. The flan is the perfect flavor and the chocolate is moist and the sugar syrup of the flan only pushes it over the top!! I'm dying over here for one just thinking of it. Afraid of committing to a full cake? No problem! They sell a variety of sizes and individual slices so go, go and eat some for me since I can't get there quick enough!! Cakes: 5/5Location: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Amazing! These guys are so friendly!

As a Mexican Hoosier I am so so happy I've finally found a Tres Leches bakery I will love forever. Being a very picky cake eater Pasteleria Gresil is where I've been getting my cakes since my high school graduation. The original Tres Leches is very moist but my go-to cake is the Mocha. If you like coffee you've gotta try it. Their Mocha Tres Leches has replaced my love for Italian Tiramisu. The good thing about Gresil is they have individual slices, and cakes small enough to feed 2-5 people and large enough to feed a whole party. Please give them a try. The owner is so nice, she is always up to have a conversation and talk more about her cakes.
