Parti-Pak Liquors is a craft beer oasis, unassumingly camouflaged in the middle of Greenwood near a rail line of all places. There are multiple aisles of buried beer treasure, ranging from local to international breweries. I find it hard to stay within budget when shopping at Parti-Pak. I'm slowly perusing the shelves...then gasp...a Mikkelller, Stillwater or Prairie ale I haven't seen before! I wants it, I needs it...must have the precious! There is almost an entire aisle of Belgium and French ales only, if you're into imports. Parti-Pak also allows you to customize 6-packs out almost anything you want, so you get to explore more beers than you typically would. They also have Underberg near the check-out counter, another perk in my book. Ignore the worn exterior/interior and deceiving name; visit Parti-Pak, prepare to squeal with delight, and spend more than you intended. Your inner craft beer aficionado will forever thank you.

Holy Beer, Batman! I have never, NEVER seen such a collection of craft beers and microbrews, all crammed into a smallish store in aging strip-mall-land. Like opening the door to beer nirvana! Small but quite decent wine selection; an interesting, if not as complete collection of liquors. Quite friendly and pleasant folks behind the counter.Did I mention the eclectic variety of meads and ciders? If it's alcoholic, brewed and bubbly, you will find it here.

Parti-Pak Liquors is definitely not much to look at. In fact, from its exterior it looks like the liquor store you'd find in the "bad" part of town in any major city replete with homeless guys panhandling for spare change for booze. Have no fear, Parti-Pak Liquors is on the far Southside of Indy right across the street from Southport Public Library so the neighborhood is safe and you won't be accosted in the parking lot by anyone other than perhaps a Purdue fan wondering if its basketball team will ever beat IU again. Anyway, while Parti-Pak is a full service liquor store, its liquor and wine selection leaves a lot to be desired with better selection and prices being found elsewhere. Beer is what Parti-Pak does best. While it does carry the popular, brewed for the masses "American" beers from the foreign-owned Anheuser-Busch InBev, SABMiller, and Molson Coors, Parti-Pak's wheelhouse is its selection of American-owned, American-made craft beers including a comprehensive selection of Hoosier State brews at the best prices to be found on the Southside and, perhaps, the city. If those mega-beers from foreign-owned conglomerates are more to your liking, prices will be better elsewhere. I found my Three Floyds' Alpha King, Triton's Railsplitter IPA, and Upland's Dragonfly IPA and left happy. Parti-Pak is my stop of first choice for craft beer.

Party Pak Liquors is great! It's really random - as Marc K. pointed out, the building is entirely unassuming. It looks just like any other liquor store and is in a location where you definitely would not expect to find an amazing selection of beers! A sign on the front window boasts that they have the largest selection of specialty beers in the city, if not the state, and once you get past the 80's rock that they blare on the outside speakers and make your way inside, you will find out that the sign does not lie. If you have a special beer that you can't find anywhere else, head to Party Pak Liquors - they will probably have it, but if they don't they will order it for you. Assembling your own six pack is one of the best parts of a trip to Party Pak! I made my own hefeweizen sampler and my boyfriend tried a variety of beers from Brooklyn Brewery. The prices aren't bad either - mine varied from $1.29 to $1.89 a bottle! The aisles are cramped and all of the clientele aren't exactly beer connoisseurs, but it's worth it!

The sketchy hole-in-the wall by the train tracks?! Yes! That's the one; it hosts the most immense selection of beer around--with copious wine & liquor offerings to boot! The staff's equally expensive knowledge satiates even the most drunken boozing inquiries.Alas! Be wary, Thirsty Traveller! The lack in price tagging quickly sobers-up ye olde pocketbook.

Whatever you are looking for... They have it! They have it all! From Mallow Run wine to Zombie Dust (which comes in on Thursdays and sells out instantly!) The service is amazing, the staff is friendly, and the selection is outstanding! My favorite liquor store in Indy! You can't beat it!

I love this place! I can't wait to go back! So many options to build your own six pack. The price is based on the beer so it's up to you to go all out and get rare beers, or an eclectic mixture of your favorite go-to brews. The prices are not on the individual bottles or on the shelf but a good rule of thumb is that if the beer is sitting in a four-pack, it is going to be more expensive. They have a wide selection in a compact space. Don't forget to go near the cash registers if you're more of a can vs bottle person. I think we were so excited when we got in the door we just wanted to start picking our packs. This is a business that does a great job of stocking lots of microbrews without any fuss. My 6 pack of beers from smaller breweries was $13 after tax (I rounded up). I will definitely go again!Tip: look for an empty, or nearly empty six pack holder on the shelves to safely get your beer to the counter to check out.

Go here for beer. Seriously, massive selection. Largest I've seen in any liquor store. Decent wine, booze selection but go for the beer. This is truly amazing.

I think the best thing to state is this place has a rocking beer collection, including ciders and meads. I stopped in on a whim and was really surprised (other friends have boasted of its collection). I was just surprised at how small the place is, but how much beer one could fit in. The great thing is if you see a six pack on the shelf and only want one, you just grab it out. You don't have to take the whole thing. The cider collection was fantastic, which is unusual. I picked up items I hadn't heard of or hadn't been able to try yet. I'll keep coming back here for the unique beers...I mean it's like going into a library, but instead of books, it's beer.

All of the reviews are accurate, well close. This store is not in the middle of Greenwood, it is north of Greenwood by two or three miles. but the selection is excellent. The employees are almost always helpful in finding something (if they are busy making/taking money, they will ask you to wait, but that is how it works, dont get angry, you only make money at the register)
