After a minor skirmish between our dog and another, Cindy & her staff left these for our pup. Just another reason to love this place.

Save your money and do not stay there... our room was not worth the money air conditioner did not get Cool... had bed bugs and most of all room smelled like cigarette smoke... Your better off staying at Bubble Gum Bed & Breakfast there you get great customer service and a great room for your money...

Let me start off by saying that Cindy and her staff are INCREDIBLE. It is always the small touches and attention to detail that I appreciate and remember. There was a minor incident between our dog and one staying at the main house. It was something that we thought nothing of, just dogs being dogs. After heading out the next day to do some exploring, we came back to our room to find a bag of homemade dog treats on the table. The motel is situated right in downtown Rockville making it really convenient, whether antique shopping, enjoying one of the local restaurants or saloons, or just wandering around the capitol or historic downtown. The rooms are cozy, clean and each room is themed differently. We stayed in room 5 which was the covered bridge room and loved it. We live on a really busy street so the fact that the motel is situated on Route 36 was something that we didn't even notice. Our entire stay was pleasant and extremely affordable. I cannot recommend this place enough. Just make sure to check under your car for the cats before pulling out of your assigned parking space.

We spent one night at this very comfortable cozy motel. The rooms are small but clean and the price per night is very reasonable. The one drawback is that it is right on Route 36 and the noise from the traffic and many 18 wheelers was LOUD, lucky for us the air conditioner helped tone down the noise. It is close to multiple dining/bar choices Benjamin's is close and a comfortable walk (see review) Thirty-six Saloon is very close but not so great (see review)If in the area again I would stay but ask for a room in the back, our room #1 was the closest to Rt 36 and our parking spot was not big enough to accommodate a normal car.

Excellent ~ Stayed this past weekend and motel is clean and quaint. This is a great stop for motorcycles because the 36 Saloon is walking distance from the motel. Also there is a great little coffee and donut shop also walking distance with the best coffee and homemade donuts. Plus its a nice ride down to Nashville, IN for the day. The owner is super friendly and helpful, she made us feel very welcome. This is definitely a gem of a motel in the perfect little town.

I travel for a living and this is one of, if not the best fifty dollar motel I have ever had the pleasure to stay in. It is a vintage motel like the kind you see in movies with an L shaped string of rooms hooked onto an old house decorated with lots of flowers. I am sure it might have originally been knotty pine walls but everything has been redone. But it's not sterile and new. It is a mixture of being at a nicer mid priced motel and being at your grandmas house. It definitely has a B and B vibe. It is quiet here like a tomb. The towels and bedding are all high quality. The first thing I saw when I walked in our room as a beautiful old time quilt on the queen size bed. The carpet is new and clean and I would not hesitate getting down and doing my yoga stretches on it, which is something I can not say for most motels, even expensive ones. The nicely decorated room, though a tad on the small side, has all the amenities, wifi, cable TV, new fridge and micro and hair dryer. The bathroom has been redone. Everything is very clean. The vintage tile floor must have the hot water pipes running under it cause it is warm when you step out of the shower. I love this place. I could live here. The only very slight complaint I might have is that the AC can be a bit loud when on high. Small potatoes. If you want to stay here during one of the festivals you better reserve early cause it looks like there are just 8 or 9 rooms. Definitely Big Bang for your buck.
