This is a small local family run bbq placeThe decor makes you feel like you are with family The service is prompt and friendly The food is exceptionally goodWe travel and eat bbq all over America and this is honestly some of the best Mac and cheese I've ever had. The pulled pork is tasty and juicy and the sauces are delicious. So glad we came here!

We had lunch here once while moving our son into college. The food is SO good and the service is super nice. The ONLY downside is... they need a mop! The floors were super sticky. They do have a lot for parking.

This place was really, really good food. Amazing portion sizes and the mac and cheese got high grades from my wife. I had the chicken, baked potato and the onion petals.Others got the two meat combo and the pulled pork mac and cheese bowl. Everyone said their food was excellent.Only issue was the food coming out of the kitched. baked potato only had butter on it (was supposed to be dressed), onion petals were delivered about 10 minutes after the rest of the meal, and sauces were delivered late. People were super nice, but a bit disorganized on the delivery end. (it wasn't just our table. one group next to us had stuff delivered after most had their food for a while). Not enough of an isuse to not go back.

The hours listed on Yelp said that they were open until nine. When I called about 10min until 8:00 to place my order, they said they were closing. I asked them if they could please take my order and I would be there asap to pick it up. They did this for me, and I was truly grateful, as it was a meal I had promised to a coworker. My coworker enjoyed the meal! Pappies saved the day! (Night, lol!)

In town on business, scooted over for lunch. Really good brisket and pulled pork. Sides were good and the service was very prompt.

Really solid family owned BBQ joint. We stopped by in town after driving past and thought we would give a try.Not terribly busy for around lunchtime on a weekend. Lots for great choices and smells to choose from.I went with some brisket, jalapeño Mac, and fried pickles (which were fabulous). Wife had a pulled pork bowl with onion petals and chili. Waitress brought a small bowl of chili for me for free since I expressed interest, nice touch. Refills kept coming.Before tip, $27. I mean what is not to like here. We will be back if in the area.

Moved to gas city today and after hearing good things decided our first dinner here would be pappies... dang glad we did! The sheer amount of beyond epic bbq in that to go container set our taste buds ablaze with flavor! If you want some epic bbq and can get to Gas City, Pappies is where it's at!

Tried their brisket jalapeño mac bowl with their sweet bbq sauce at the 4H fair '23 and been a fan since!!

Great local barbecue joint. The ribs were fall off the bone tender and the brisket was moist and flavorful. The owner knows his stuff!I am a picky coleslaw eater. Loved it. Creamy perfection. If you come here you *must* order the cherry delight (cheesecake).

Such yummy food! Great portions. Great service. Everyone is very kind and the service is superb. I recommend the pulled pork bowl with mac and cheese!
