Oy Vey Jewish Bakery and Delicatessen

The food was easily five stars! Clearly a lot of love goes into it and the ingredients seem high quality. Unfortunately, we nearly never ate it. The wait was really long for a sandwich and a salad, over twenty-five minutes, without any other guests inside. Right as we were getting ready to cut our losses the owner handed us our food. The second reason we nearly never ate is because the ambiance of the space turned our stomachs. There were multiple dogs roaming around, a drab and dark interior that was also extremely crowded with stuff collecting dust. A spring cleaning (or, well, fall) would make this location a lot more appetizing. We would try the food again but ideally for pick up or delivery to avoid the issues we encountered.

Stopped in here for a late lunch today, and although the place is not very fancy on the outside, the service and my turkey and ham club was excellent, especially in house bread!I will definitely stop here again when in town

Very welcoming from the moment I walked in the door. Extremely helpful and patient, even for a sleep deprived zombie like me. The food was amazing, I mean really excellent. And did I mention friendly. I would eat here again even if the food wasn't as good as it was just to be treated so nice. I can't wait till I'm in town again. I never give 5 stars but I was really tempted to here.

I love this restaurant and have been several times. I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 because they changed location and this one doesn't have a bathroom. They told me to go across the street to the hospital so I just waited. I love the friendly staff here, the many vegan options and the cozy environment.

This restaurant reminded me of my time living in the city. This is a very small place that is family run by charming Jewish people. When you enter, they invite you to share life with them, get to know them, be part of the family. Mama Ava is an exceptional cook. Leah, who was managing the front end was incredibly friendly and helped us make our first order easy.You cannot believe how absolutely awesome this place is. Came in and ordered the falafel wrap and the south African sweet potato soup. If I lived closer, I would eat here every day. It is exceptional. You will not be disappointed.

Great place to stop for some great homemade Jewish food that includes pastries, sandwiches, soups and entrees. The Lithuanian soup was fantastic and the warm pita style bread was perfect. Can't wait to try some other foods.

Great food and service! Loved our visit while in town for Rose Hulman parents weekend. We will certainly be back!

Man this place is great! Driving through and just wanted something different and happened to land here(won't be the last time!!) got the Don, nothing added to it. Just as it was on the menu. Then they asked if I wanted it in a rye bagel, well OF COURSE!! They make their bread from scratch and you could tell the meat was freshly carved. This will 100% be my spot when I'm coming through!!

Great hidden gem. Was passing through the town on a road trip with my family and was surprised to see a kosher bakery and deli. Food was great. Very tasty. Staff were friendly. I had the garlic lemon chicken sandwich. Wife had a falafel wrap. Kids had chicken schnitzel and a turkey sandwich. Please go and support them. As you can imagine it can be tough being a kosher deli in this area.
