If you're craving authentic Greek cuisine that hits all the right notes, look no further than OPA! This local gem is an absolute treasure. The meat is unbelievably tender--seasoned to perfection and cooked just right. Every bite melts in your mouth and leaves you wanting more.Their Greek fries? Pure heaven! Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and topped with just the right amount of seasoning and feta. You simply can't skip them. And the portions? Outrageous in the best way possible! You get so much food for the price, and every dish feels like it was made with love. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service is impeccable--everyone is so friendly and attentive. Whether you're dining in or taking it to go, OPA consistently delivers an exceptional experience. Hands down, it's my go-to spot for Greek food. Highly, highly recommend!

Tried Opa again tonight after over a year of taking a break from our last bad experience only to be unimpressed again. We were 1 of maybe 6 tables occupied. We watched our waitress eat her dinner and lick her fingers, then went over to the service station put together a to go order and get our flaming cheese without washing her hands. My Opa pasta, wife's gyro platter, kids burger and kids chicken tenders were all luke warm, and that's being generous. We would have been happy to address this at the time but all staff were too busy being social with each other. Total bill $79, not including tip, avg $20/head and very unimpressed.

Came to Opa with some friends for dinner and I was pleasantly surprised. The minute I walked in I couldn't help but feel like I had been transported to Santorini with all of the decor. The ambiance felt so warm and inviting. As we quickly took our seats I was very happy with the service as our waiter was quite prompt and attentive. We decided to get the Flaming Saganaki as a starter for the day experience and I ordered a gyro. The Saganaki was definitely an experience and equally delicious (cheesy and lemony all at the same time!) The gyro was very tender and I appreciate that the server brought us garlic sauce on the side for it. Food was delicious, service was great, and the ambiance was very nice. Will definitely be back to try more items off of the menu!

Amazing and affordable Greek food! We started with the saganaki which was fun to watch them light it up, and tasted really good. My entree was the chicken gyro which was only ~$15 and came with chips, but upgrading to the fries was worth it (so crispy!). The chicken in the gyro was really flavorful and I loved how they loaded the sandwich with tzatziki sauce. The vibes here are great as well, the walls are painted to look like Santorini which was so beautiful. Overall a great experience!

Visited this restaurant with family over the summer. Overall, the experience was just ok. Starting with the positives: staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. We had a party of 8, including 2 young children. Our server was very stressed, as the restaurant was pretty busy, and we appreciated her attentiveness. The restaurant itself is nice, and very clean. However, the food was just ok. As a vegetarian, there weren't too many options for veg protein. I got the hummus platter, and pasta. The pasta was really basic, and lacked flavor. It would have been nice to see falafel or bean based options on the menu. My family seemed to enjoy their meals a bit more, but also agreed the food was just ok, nothing special.

Visited here for lunch recently. We had a large group, and unfortunately the service was a bit slow. However, I really enjoyed the food. For appetizers we had some hummus and Saganaki. I also ordered the Chicken Breast Gyro Dinner plate, and it was so much food!! Luckily it made for tasty leftovers.

OPA! Is one of my favorite places in Avon. I've been there several times and the outcome is the same. Amazing food, great service and Ambiance and decor to make you feel closer to Greece. So, this time we had the flaming saganaki as appetizer and it was delicious it came out fast and of course very hot. My chicken breast platter was UNBELIEVABLE everything was so tasty and I additionally had the pork tenderloin that was just as good. Definitely recommend! I was there for lunch, so it wasn't as packed, but for dinner it normally is, even during weekdays. However, I've never had any issues finding parking right outside of the restaurant. I had the tiramisu and it was veeery good, but also check out the cake options they have. I've loved the ones I've tried so far!

We had such an amazing meal the first time we visited OPA!, that on a return visit to Indiana I insisted we go back. Maybe Mondays are an off day for restaurants or the second string is working? It definitely wasn't the amazing place I went the first time. I ordered the pastichio again and it really wasn't great. We still enjoyed ourselves, but the prices didn't reflect the experience.

We don't usually get out west often however after an appointment we decided to give Opa a try and I'm so glad we did. We were there in between lunch and dinner so it wasn't too busy. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. She spaced our courses out perfectly. The ambiance is casual and laid back with a classy touch We ordered the cold sampler which consisted of perfectly smooth hummus, tzatziki which was creamy and wonderful flavor, the other item I can't remember the name but it had a light garlic taste and has to consistency of mashed potatoes this is served with pita, Domas, cucumber, tomato, onion, olives with lots, and feta cheese. Flaming cheese served table side with pita just like I remember having it at an island restaurant. Gyro platter: meat was seasoned well and tender would highly recommend. Served with a Greek side salad, potatoes which have a hint of lemon to them, green beans which I honestly didn't care for as they were cold and have tomatoes in them, rice was really good as well. Combo platter gives you a sample of almost everything on the first list of entrees on the menu. Too many to name but honestly this is the best value for your money and would be enough to share as well. Baklava was good but could have been served warm I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu here. I can't wait to come back out west to come here.

I love, love, love Greek food and found myself in Avon hungry and with plenty of time. This restaurant sits in a strip mall and is easy to get in and out. There's not a ton of parking but I went for lunch so I don't know what the dinner situation looks like. The decor is very inviting and traditional. The bartender who served me made sure I could watch the basketball game and made sure I had everything I needed. She was awesome.I ordered the gyro plate with salad.Ya'll....I absolutely housed this plate of food. It was so good. The meat was season and cooked perfectly. The salad had just the right amount of feta and it was dressed just right. I will definitely be back again to try my other Greek faves but was too full to eat anymore. Having said that....i ordered dessert to go!
