One World Catering

I cannot say enough good things about this catering company.Food was incredibly good and reasonably priced. Staff is courteous, friendly and professional. From the beginning of the planning process through the end of the party we enjoyed working with and having them cater my 60th Birthday.I recommend One World Catering & Events for anyone in Bloomington, Indiana who is planning an event.

One World catered my daughter's wedding in October. They came highly recommended by the venue staff as well as other people we spoke to. It was a small wedding of 25 people so I was expecting better than your standard wedding food. Since COVID changed their menu from street tacos to plated food, my daughter never got a tasting ahead of time. I felt it was very average. The chicken breast was tender and warm but with no sauce and served with over-cooked broccoli. The salmon was on the dry side and nothing special. Sorry to say, but if we had a do-over I would look around more for something special. I think the service was fine, no problems.

I've been walking my dog here for years. They tell me now that my dog is not allowed on the grass. Come on now. Seriously? They are not very friendly to their neighbors. The grass is not perfect by any means. There are no signs saying keep off grass. I'll be sure to spread the word around the community to boycott this facility.

From start to finish, we couldn't be more pleased with our experience with One World. The wedding planning process was so difficult for us, but once we found them, we knew at least the catering would be great. They were more than accommodating and helpful, the staff was wonderful, dinner was delicious, the cake was beautiful, everything was set up so tastefully and efficiently. I had more than one guest approach me just to tell me how cool the bartender was! They were a big part in making our wedding day amazing and we are so grateful!

One World Catering is a great local business, owned by the same people who run Lennies and the Bloomington Brewing Company. Great, locally-sourced food and eco-friendly serving options, the chef even created a few dishes to suit our needs. It was great working with the staff, they were very friendly and eager to please--no stress on the big day! We received many comments from guests that it was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding.

We chose One World to cater our wedding, and I couldn't have been happier. They were so easy to work with, and all of our guests loved the food. They even baked my dream wedding cake, which was also delicious.

I have only good things to say about our experience with One World from start to finish, and I look forward to hiring them again and again. We contacted them at the last minute when some other plans fell through with a somewhat odd food request, and we had a specialized menu and price quote within a couple of hours. I thought their customer service on the phone and in person was impeccable--super friendly and professional, and the food was tremendous. It was evident from the start that they are highly capable and detail oriented. I had complete confidence in them, which allowed me to relax through the entire process from planning to the day of the event.
