Located in Fishers Test Kitchen in the back of Sun King you'll find One Trick Pony. We decided to order from the QR code at the table which made everything super easy. I ordered their Dandy burger which comes with traditional burger fixings and a side of chili cheese fries. Everything came out quickly and hot! I really enjoyed the food; and you can't beat the price point. I love that you can eat this while enjoying a drink from Sun King.

Good, but nothing out of this world. A pretty straightforward smash burger with cheese covered crinkle fries. I found it quite similar to Shake Shack. Staff was friendly. This is one of the stations inside the Test Kitchen.

This might be my new favorite smash burger place. This is located within Sun King Brewery in Fishers. The service and speed were great!! Food came out hot and delicious! The fried pickles with the sauce they had were two thumbs up! The Oklahoma burger which I had was perfect. The bun was fresh and soft, the edges of the cheeseburger were crispy, the toppings were in every bite. They had fries, onion rings and fried pickles. You can order on the app or up at the register they have a kiosk. It was easy to use. So good!

Rating the double cheese burger and fries I give it a 3.5/5. I like crinkle cut fries and these were crisp and soft on the inside. The burgers were as expected with a nice sear on the outside and American cheese. It fit well with the bun but the blend of condiments was a little overpowering in the center portion of the patties. My was the "Old John" style. Not a fan of the impersonal service nor the structure housing a few different establishments. A good burger but not good enough overall to bring me back.

I should have written this review sooner because I can't remember which burger I ordered. However, I'm writing this review more than a month later and still remembering how excellent it was and how quickly we wolfed it down. I made the mistake of sharing a double with my 10 year old, thinking that between this and several things from other food stands in the building, I could never possibly eat the entire burger. We were BOTH disappointed when we realized how good the food was and that we had to share it!

I was looking forward to trying the smash burgers at One Trick Pony, located in Fisher's Test Kitchen. All the photos online made them look like things of beauty, with a thin frilly layer of caramelized meat on the outside encased in a fluffy bun. The Oklahoma Onion Burger seemed by the far the most interesting after reading about it. Apparently this burger originated in Oklahoma during the Great Depression, when the addition of onions to the burger meant that less meat would be used in the patty. I'm not sure what happened, but unfortunately the burger I received fell short of expectations.Oklahoma Onion Burger ($8.50) - The photo on the menu showed a veritable stack of onions atop the patty and a beef patty so large it was overflowing the bun. I ordered this with some additional tomato, lettuce, and extra onions. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with the result. The beef patty was smashed super thin, but there wasn't that promised crispy skirt of meatiness around the burger and it wasn't nearly as large as the pictures indicated. The beef flavor itself was overwhelmed by the copious amounts of mustard slathered on both the top and bottom buns. The oniony-ness was also rather lacking; while there was charred onion as well as raw onion on top and bottom of the burger, it was hard to discern the flavor behind all of the mustard. Complementing the burger was a good slice of tomato and a helping of shredded lettuce, along with some vinegary pickle slices. There was a sad slice of unmelted American cheese on top of the burger patty and keeping everything together was a nicely toasted, but unremarkable bun.I'm not entirely sure what went wrong - perhaps my expectations were just a bit too high given how good the photo looked? It's unlikely, but if I ever went to One Trick Pony again, I would also get more than one burger patty. They are pounded so thin that a single patty isn't substantial enough. Overall, I think the burger here was just okay.

A great crinkle fry is a thing of beauty. You will find a great crinkle fry -- or several dozen -- here at One Trick Pony. I ordered the fries plain, and I ordered them Whizbang style (with Cheese Whiz, grilled onions and jalapeños), and I can't tell you which was better because they were both excellent. The Whizbang Fries have a little kick to them, but they're not too spicy. Just enough to make things interesting. The burgers are made in the smash-burger style, so the edges of the meat is crispy and a little charred. I love smash burgers, and if you do too, then you will love the burgers at OTP. I got the Whiz Bang burger, which comes with American cheese and Cheese Whiz, jalapeños, onions, shredded lettuce and mustard. If I were to change anything, I would get my burger with light mustard. My burger had quite a lot of mustard, and it kind of took away from the taste of the two cheeses. But that being said, it was still an amazing burger. It had lots of textures going for it: creamy, crispy, chewy and juicy.Fishers Test Kitchen has made it incredibly easy to order at One Trick Pony and all of the other restaurants in the space. You order at a touch-screen kiosk, so you never have to speak to a human being! I love it. Once you order, you can find a seat and they will text you when your food is ready to be picked up at the counter. It's all very easy.

Today was an unusually warm day in Indianapolis so naturally, I had to get outside and enjoy some much-needed vitamin D.I decided to stay close to home and make my way up to the yard in fishers.I met a friend and we decided to go to the test kitchen, which is a great concept because it has different choices. I was craving a burger so I decided to go to one trick pony, they have a select menu, and it all sounds amazing. I decided on the wiz bang burger that has pickled jalapeños and caramelized onions, and cheese. It was so tasty! I enjoyed every bite.I also got a side of fries that were crisp, tasty and and had just the right amount of salt. Of course I had to get some ketchup and cheese sauce. All so tasty! Check this place out! Tasty and reasonably priced!

We just got home from here and it was great. So think of this place as a food court. There are currently three different choices. You order at a kiosk and they will text you when it's ready to pickup. They have open seating which is part of Sun King brewery. Tonight it was packed and a little noisy. I got the Dandy burger and I took off the dandy sauce and replaced with mayo. I got a double but regretted that once I saw it. Even though they are smashed they are still big burgers. What I loved is the lettuce was fresh and shredded, the other toppings were fresh and delicious as well. My spouse got the Gospel Plow and loved it. We shared a cheese fry. I love crinkle cut fries. I wasn't too wild about the cheese but everyone else seemed to love it. To my surprise after we sat down one of the servers from Sun King came by to see if we would like cocktails. Yes please! We don't drink beer but they got plenty of local brews. Their liquor is also locally produced so we got vodka with pineapple juice and it was delicious. The best park was they were only $6.50 each. That's regular prices not happy hour so we loved that. This area is packed full of shops and restaurants along with a Hilton hotel so you can imagine parking can be challenging. We found parking but there is also a garage as well.

Burgers were great, I love smash burgers! The fries and onion rings were ok but it's fine that's not what we came for.
