On Broadway

Called in an order for a breaded tenderloin sandwich and a mushroom and Swiss burger yesterday. Picked it up, got it home, and enjoyed every bite. Tenderloin was crispy, burger had plenty of mushrooms. Everything was exactly how I ordered it. There isn't any side served with sandwiches, but I knew this so all was as expected. Friendly service, ready when I was told it would be. Thanks for lunch!

The vibe was very unwelcoming. Do not go here unless you are a right wing racist. Then you will be fine. Our racially diverse party of 4 did stay- we weren't going to let them intimidate us. They stared at us- we stared back. The whole place smells like a nasty dirty astray- they do smoke in there. We chose to sit outside on their covered deck. It was decent- and for awhile we had it to ourselves. The only reason I awarded 1star is because the person who served us was very nice and attentive to our needs. The food was okay. Disappointing that you can only get baked potato Friday-Sunday. I felt terrible because I'm the one who suggested this place- solely on the Yelp reviews. Will not ever go back- would not recommend, and would caution anyone who is not caucasian and not a redneck to set foot in this place.

Hadn't been in a long while and recently decided to try it out . They changed the homemade chips , they were kinda cold and stale , but the margaritas were very good . Good atmosphere- not a bunch of loud obnoxious people . Place has always had a good staff and pretty decent patrons .

I have been waiting to try this place since we moved to Anderson Indiana. Today my way to Anna (mystical beauty she is) decided it was time for us to celebrate Because it was Friday the 13th! When she asked me where she would like to go I have recommended we try on Broadway because I wanted her to have a traditional Hoosier tenderloin sandwich. I had bookmarked this restaurant because they serve the traditional one. So when we came to the restaurant which is located on 44 Jackson St., we were so glad to see it's filled with people enjoying themselves and I think the manager of the store is absolutely gorgeous inside out!She treated us like royalty and we ate several things all the cards because we wanted to try a lot of things so we had some French fried onion rings absolutely perfect! Nachos with cheese that were amazing and they're not stingy with the cheese sauce it's quite a lot and served in the crock too.Then a basket filled with deep-fried mushrooms with the horseradish sauce... spectacular and large mushrooms!And now the pièce de résistance that Hoosier pork tenderloin sandwiches. You might as well call them Shields because they're so big that it's beyond anything that has ever been classified as a sandwich and one might consider. When they came to the table we were so happy to see them in a little bit worried because we're only two people! LOL anyway we dove in headfirst and came out breathing!When he came to our attention that we were being waited on by the manager her self "Casey"is her name and I recommend you ask for her when you come in because she is amazingly sweet and wonderful way to us as well. She brings a lot to the table for this restaurant and bar the place is absolutely a joy to be in.No matter if you live in Indianapolis and you're having to drive over from Muncie Indiana you go to check out On Broadway! And tell them you saw this review on yelp! I love the people and no one is a stranger here. So come with your appetite, enjoy the menu and You will be treated like royalty!By the way I do want to tell you that this places ambiance is almost like being at home. It's casual but sweet and wonderful very comfortable to be too!The opening hours is as follows;10:00 AM till 11-ish p.m. Monday Through Thursday and Friday and Saturday is depending on the crowd. This place is fantastic and will put you right away into the feeling that you are on the set of "Cheers".So get in your car, and drive here really fast and get something good to drink and something wonderful to eat! Special thanks to Casey for her hospitality and speedy service! Anna and I will be here over and over and over again which truthfully enjoyed ourselves thoroughly! You will to just come after 5 PM and ask for Casey the rest will be amazing and I am waiting to see your own reviews about this fantastic place. Where in the world do you think you will find a place so great? Anderson and Indiana are home town.On Broadway or foods pick up service for our food items simply phone I had asked for Kacy the manager or good cooks and leave your order you can pay for that when you come to pick it up they do a beautiful job in the pack good to go orders in a really nice way you can go wrong if you do want a good healthy for filling meal and you wanted in your home or? Simply call ahead and let them know you're going to be the first ones to take care of you properly!Once you're done eating you should take your stuff downstairs they have a basement sports area pool table and pinball machines dart boards and the usual suspects! You have a great time it's been a couple hours actually if you wanted to it's easy to do places very well rounded enjoy yourselves!

I have been trying tenderloin sandwiches around Anderson, trying to find the tastiest one. I went to On Broadway today based on a recommendation I found here on Yelp. The sandwich was big, but not juicy and tasted old. It was overcooked and not very flavorful. It wasnt bad by any means but i have had much better around this area. The chips were good and the fried mushrooms were a nice offering. However, the sauces I was given were dated 10/5 and 10/9 which means they had been prepared and sitting in the kitchen for nearly a month. I had a feeling I was headed for stand bar-level food quality but overruled my better judgement in an attempt to give all tenderloins in Anderson a fair shake in my quest for the best. It was not bad, but it was not delicious either...although the mushrooms, while kinda soggy, were nice.

The food here was great and the portions were huge. Had the club sandwich and I have to say it's the best one I've had since moving from the west coast. Also ordered the basket of Spanish waffle fries and they were hot and tasty. The bar was surprisingly clean and well lit, no dingy feeling here. Will have to come and try the drinks next!

I have never been disapointed and I have had most things on the menu. The service is outstanding. Great place to have a beer and a burger.

Great service and food. Young ladies behind the bar make you feel like a 'regular' even if you're not.Super sandwiches up to top shelf steaks. First class!

Great Anderson Dive Bar. Stopped in for lunch. I don't live here, so it was my first time. One of the best burgers that I've had. And I've had burgers at alot of different places. Even the chips were good. Thick, homestyle and seasoned. Recommend this place for sure. It's Over 21 and smoking allowed. TouchTunes and Pull Tabs. Enjoy
