Old Towne Beer Hall & Growler

This place is fun! It's right on the square across from the courthouse in Franklin. They have lots of board games you can place. They also darts, pool, corn hole, beer pong, a great arcade game where you can choose between 3 games. They offer cocktails, wine, and of course beer. They have so much to choose from!! You can order from some of the restaurants around Courthouse Coney's, Greeks Pizzeria, Richard's Brick Oven Pizza, Court street Cafe to name a few places to order from. You get wristband and go around and enjoy the numerous choices of beer they have to offer. They have a nice outdoor area out back also. I can see this place doing really well on Friday, Saturday nights especially!! Great place!!

If you haven't been here yet...you're missing out! This is a great little hideaway to have a few drinks and...just hang out, play games, join in on trivia nights, and karaoke; with a great variety of national and craft beers, they also a small selection of wines and liquors. I love the concept and the space in general. The staff are super friendly willing to help in anyway. When you check in you give them a credit card they will scan it and open a tab. You then get a bracelet with a fob on it and you scan the fob and pour your own brew and it tracks it for you. Once you ready to leave to can check out with the card on file, use a different card, or cash.

There is no food service just good beer selections either self service tap. It's a bit dark in there when we visited but clean and just a good place on the town square.

This place is truly a hidden gem! Give them grace as they are understaffed and doing their best to keep up but Mac & Kevin will make you feel tight at home. I only wish we didn't live so far away. Nice atmosphere, great concept and nice people.

This place is so much fun! They give you a wrist band at first and then you can walk around and choose your drink from tons of options! I think it took me about five minutes just to pick one to drink. There was live music which was awesome and people were dancing to it. Very fun place!

This place is so neat!! If you haven't been to a self-serve beer joint, then check this place out!When you get there, you get a wristband that allows you to use the taps. The adult beverage selection is incredible. They have everything on tap. Domestic beer. Craft beer. Wine. AND COCKTAILS! I didn't count (I will next time I go and update this), but they had 20+ taps of craft beer. You are limited to 32oz. of adult beverage, but the staff uses their judgement to decide if you can handle anymore. They also have a water station! Yay hydration!! I'm pretty sure food can be ordered and brought in from any of the local restaurants...I saw a Greeks Pizzeria Box on one table and they had menus from The Willard on a few tables.PRICING: I drank my full 32oz of various beers, and spent about $18 before tax.They offer games up front for you to use, and the back room has tables for pong and darts. We didn't go to the back because it was crowded, but I took a quick peek. We went on a Saturday night, so it was busy but still had plenty of tables for our group of 6. Street parking is right in front, but any other parking in downtown Franklin isn't a far walk (they are located in the center of town, across from the courthouse). Wednesday night is karaoke night, and they host fun events like DIY succulent garden.

Great place, great atmosphere. The beer is great except not a lot of gfree options and the cocktails aren't super good. Honestly though, they are premade cocktails so that makes sense. There is hard cider and wine as well so some good gfree options but not as much as I'd like to see. Great atmosphere, beer pong, darts, corn hole. Also some sweet high top tables. You can bring your own food in which is awesome also. I give it 4.7/5. Great place, will definitely return.

We really like this place! Such a great concept and a really neat atmosphere. Their are two minor reasons I did not give them five stars. 1: they have no food in house. You can have food brought in and they have a partnership that allows them to bring you food into their space, but I really wish they had food in house. 2: some more seating would be mice. When we were there, most of the bart top tables were marked as reserved. Some dining height tables to add to the remaining bar seats would make it a bit better. We WILL be back, we really like it and the owners are all so friendly and personable!

Amazing!!!! This concept is AWESOME!!!! The staff was great, Mack and Kevin they will take such good care of you!!!! SOOO MANY AMAZING BEERS!!! They also have a full bar so you can get a cocktail if you want!!!! We will definitely be back and be telling EVERYONE about our new favorite hang out!!!!

A fun place to try beers as you wish. Donnie gave us a full lesson on how to use our card and tap our beer selections. Very friendly place...staff & patrons. Karaoke the night we were there but they host open mic on Wednesday too. An easy place to hangout! We'll be back!
