Old Oak Inn

Everything was wonderful! I highly recommend this beautiful beautiful experience. The bed was extremely comfortable the view is extremely beautiful and easy parking and the breakfast is simply extravagant !! RJ

The Old Oak Inn was my first stay at a true bed & breakfast, and it was probably the best experience one could have! The owners have converted this 1900s farmhouse into a beautiful, modern b&b. There are 4 rooms total, each with their own private bathroom. All of the rooms are newly remodeled and just gorgeous. We stayed in the "North Room," which is the first room (all rooms are upstairs on the 2nd level) at the top of the stairs. It has a very comfy queen bed and ample space. My favorite feature is the clawfoot tub, a bath bomb was even included for those wanting a bath.The owners live on the 3rd floor so are always available. Visiting during Covid, we had a very safe stay as well. We got to choose our breakfast time and were served a grand breakfast to ourselves in the dining room. A breakfast-in-bed delivery option as well. Karen made a feast of a breakfast (French toast, eggs, bacon, fruit, and Tinker coffee!). Breakfast is included with the cost of room (which is very affordable!).

I was so impressed with this location. She was quick to respond, so kind and so helpful! Honestly having this location really improved my wedding morning. She prepared a wonderful breakfast for us. A little bit of everything so there was something for everyone! She asked about our wedding morning schedule and made breakfast and had it ready and kept it ready for each of our different schedules. It was so nice to have a wonderful breakfast to sit down to that morning with my girls. The rooms were so spacious and each had their own air controls. So i could freeze like i prefer and my bridesmaid could be nice and warm as she prefers. The bed was soft and comfortable. The bathroom was beautiful. I stayed in the north room and was in love with the beautiful bathroom. That lovely clawfoot bathtub and amazing rainfall shower head! Seriously a relaxing place and a bath bomb was provided for me as well as nice toiletries. So nice given that in wedding prep mode i forgot some essentials! They were available to me. We booked the whole place and it only cost $400 for the night - what a steal to have a home to ourselves, a delicious home cooked breakfast and to have 4 bathrooms for us all to get ready on wedding morning. The bed in the east room was so comfy. Soft, wonderful sheets, nice room. My girls loved it! Only issue was a minor operator error in the west room with the AC unit. It worked fine, just took them a bit to figure it out. They were very pleased when they did. Also there were robes provided in all the rooms. My girls sported those for some of our getting ready photos, they were not yet dressed and wanted to look nicer in the photos. The robes provided were so comfy and they were very appreciative. Honestly they are talking of moving into the wedding arena and i would totally support it for others. She was willing to host our rehearsal dinner for a reasonable price. Was able to accommodate 20-30 people for the dinner. Honestly, everything was so easy with the owner. The accommodations, communication, and just everything was excellent. Whether you are using this for a wedding, a girls weekend, or anything, this is just an amazing location. We have all talked about renting this again for a crafting weekend. It is just such a nice place!

We stayed at the Old Oak Inn this weekend. The Heinckers couldn't have been more welcoming. We came in late and wanted to leave very early. They woke up at 5 to accommodate us for breakfast. I wouldn't have asked anyone to do that but they seemed happy to do it. The house was beautifully decorated and up kept. Highly recommend

We stayed at the Old Oak Inn last night and found it delightful. The entire place is beautiful and inviting. Our room was very welcoming and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. The innkeeper, Karen, was so kind and warm. We highly recommend staying here.

My husband and I stayed at Old Oak Inn, a bed and breakfast, for 3 nights. I would definitely recommend this place. Karen, the Innkeeper, gave us a very warm welcome and then took us to the North room, a beautiful (and I do mean beautiful) room. It was like stepping into another era. Most important to me is lighting in the room and ours had great lighting. The bathrooms are gorgeous. Ours had an added touch of fragrance from Cherry Blossom bath fizzies. They had everything that we needed, including separate air and heat so that we could control the temp in our room. They have 4 rooms with their own bathrooms. Each room is decorated (all different patterns matching the Inn style) by Karen, with help from her son. Karen's husband, Dan, rebuilt the old home and turned it into a masterpiece. We had time to sit and chat with him and he told us all that they did to this home to make it a beautiful bed and breakfast. They are both very gifted. We just fell in love with them.The breakfast is outstanding. My husband and I kept saying "to die for" at each breakfast. Karen even saves muffins (to die for) so that when we came in from our travels during the day, we could have something before we went to our room.All said, it was hard to leave such a wonderful, peaceful place, all due to our amazing hosts.Marti and Clayton

The gracious host couple at Old Oak Inn are warm and welcoming and may be the best, but are hardly the only, reason it was a pleasure to stay there for three nights. They stripped this roomy 1903 farmhouse down to the studs, then recreated it beautifully in early 20th century style, but with all the comforts and modern facilities of a fine hotel, not scrimping on any of the fixtures. The matroness (Karen) has a great decorating eye. Breakfast was expertly home-made and irresistibly delicious. My highest recommendation!
