OBI's Barbecue

This place is a must try if you are visiting Marion, IN. The food is extremely good. I had the pulled pork nachos. They were amazing. Service was also excellent. We went on a Saturday night and they had some fun live music. Prices were decent for the quality of food that you get. A+++I highly recommend this barbecue place. Stop into Ashley's Ice Cream across the street too if you wanting desert.

Excellent!Loved the vibe, this place is fun!You've made great use of your downtown location.. Food was excellent, as we had the ribs/brisket combo, nachos and smoked wings.. my sides were Mac n cheese + greens, and both were great!Great brewed ice tea for the win! And a wonderful server who knew her way around the menu and made us feel at home!We don't live near Marion (visiting friends) but when we are in the area, I know where we'll be eating!

This BBQ joint lies in James Dean's and Garfield creator, Jim Davis's hometown! Like Garfield...I was ready to stuff myself.Obi's sits in downtown Marion in what looks like a remodeled old building with plenty of tables and a bar to accommodate guests.I went with the 2 meat/2 sides with pork and brisket and slaw and cornbread. They were out of brisket so I went with ribs. The ribs had a delicious rub to them and the ribs were easy to chew. The pork was also tender and tasty. The slaw was creamy and sweet. But the cornbread was my favorite part of the meal. They gave me two cornbread sticks and these sticks had some kind of spice mixed in with them that made it stand out.There are 5 BBQ sauces: sweet, spicy, Carolina, white Alabama, and Raspberry Chipotle. Out of the 5, the Raspberry Chipotle is the one I enjoyed the most for its uniqueness. It had the sweetness of a Raspberry and the heat at the back of Chipotle. The Carolina would be my next favorite with its apple cider vinegar taste. The White Alabama was more on the horseradish side compared to other white Alabama sauces I've had. The sweet and the spicy were also solid sauces.They brew sweet tea in house so I was very excited about that and it past this Bama Boy's standards for sweet tea!I would love to come back and try the brisket and Mac and cheese!

Great food every time! Dessert is also very yummy! Service has always been quick, although I usually go on weekday nights, so I can't speak to busier weekend nights. This is one restaurant I can actually get BOTH kids to agree to that I also like.

Brisket sandwich was very taste and the MAC and cheese was just ok, the mix of sweet tea and regular was good.It's a little pricey for what I had, with 20% tip it was just over $25

I just love this please . Their BBQ is amazing and so flavorful. My wife and myself always get the 3 meats and 3 sides platter. It comes with a lot of food.Their collard greens are one of the best I've had in my life and I've had plenty. Their brisket is amazing. They don't give you the fatty brisket they give you the good stuff. Ribs are also spectacular. Their BBQ sauce is on point. I didn't get it this time but their green apple slushy is pretty good also. Service is fast and friendly. They have live music some days which is nice. Thank me later because their BBQ will always bring you back

Stopped in today for quick bite and coffee. Service was ok as were the wing tips but probably the best things were the setting and Darth and Yoda up front

Food was amazing service was quick this is my go to when I'm craving some good bbq they never disappoint 10/10 recommend

So so so good. We stopped here after a conference game for our son's football team. Go, CCS! And it was just about perfect. The service was amazing. Just wonderful. And the food even better. Now, I'm not a huge bbq fan, so when I say this KNOW that it good food. The cornbread is a little thick but delicious. And the cole slaw was better than most. I'm pretty picky about cornbread AND cole slaw. And the bbq. Spot on. Side Note: I definitely recommend trying the white sauce. We dropped about 80.00 here but worth every penny...It was exactly what was needed after a LONG day of championship football. We parked on the street.

I'm a vegetarian so I don't need the barbecue, but the sauces are really good. The baked potato are good. You get good service and my husband really likes their burgers. They are friendly and they have a really clean restaurant. I would recommend them to anybody that likes barbecue 10 out of 10
