Oak Haven Bed & Breakfast

My husband and I stayed in the Red Oak Room for two nights to celebrate our 20th anniversary. We were very happy with the accommodations. The room was clean and just as it was in the pictures on the website. The food was very good and the tranquil setting was just what we needed. The hiking trails on the property are highly recommended!

Nice secluded b&b just outside Nashville. Pretty setting and bright airy home. Room was clean and nicely equipped. Some nice extras included such as fridge with complimentary soft drinks, large selection of DVDs. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return.

My husband and I stayed at Oak Haven one night early August & when you 1st drive up to the place, it does look attractive but, once the owner checked us into the "master suite" on the main floor of their home, all I can say is, I have never been so disgusted in my life with the amount of filth in this B&B! The floors (carpets) were filthy. The mirrors appeared to have not been cleaned in a very long time & they had some type of oily film on them. The bath rugs in front of both the bath tub & shower had not been picked up & cleaned or shampooed either because when I picked the one up in front of the tub & shook it into the tub, I would not put on this review what all fell off of the rug into the tub & the same for the bath rug in front of the shower! Also, there were no curtains on the windows in the sitting area or in the bathroom area & I found this rather disturbing. Breakfast was included in the price but, we decided with what we had already seen we would be better off to have breakfast some other place. All in all, we would never stay here again & were completely disappointed & paid $165 to spend the night in filth! If we could have done 1/2 star we would have.
