Ok so we were visiting from out of town and we decided to go here. The price alone, $12 includes a drink, compared to other Chinese buffets should have been our first clue that it wasn't going to be good. Located in a shopping strip. It's an older building and once inside it seemed ok. The buffet looked ok. We pay and then get our food and seat ourselves the first plate was old tasting and stale. Then we noticed the place getting busy and fresh stuff was coming out. Choices are limited. The fresh sweet and sour chicken was good, white rice was good, they had this spicy seafood mix that was super super good and another shrimp dish that I liked. The cold shrimp still had the shells and poop vein in them and weren't being touched. They also had a chicken teriyaki that was delish. Other than that they had horrible dishes. Salmon was dry they barely had any fresh fruit or desserts. Soups were nasty dumplings over cooked and hard. Beef and broccoli so hard to eat that it wasn't worth it. Fried rice and lo mein noodles way over cooked and mushy. Most food was flavorless and they didn't offer any chili sauce etc. they only had soy sauce in packets and there were no cups to put your sweet and sour sauce in. I used a soup bowl. I did find salt and pepper that was much needed on all my dishes. But what was so odd is that we had to clear our own plates and put them in this dish Bin. There were only three people working. The cook the dishwasher and the cashier at the front. Ok but the women's bathroom was disgusting. In the handicapped stall there were kitchen tongs on the floor by the toilet. The other stall was clogged full of pop and toilet paper. It was just nasty. I would never eat here again nor recommend it. But I have to say it was very busy. I didn't get that.

I came here when I first moved to Carmel, was great food and good service. After the pandemic this buffet is still great.They where okay when I brought my school bag. Other buffets would want my bag In the car or somthing.Price is okay being a broke college student.

Couldn't have been worse if they tried. Building is old, worn down, and exceptionally dirty. Food looked and tasted like it had been out on the bar since 2013. I won't be going back anytime soon.

The place smelled like mold in general. The cup I was given to drink out of made me wretch. I thought it was the sweet tea, so I switched, turned out it was the smell of the cup. Floor was super gross in the corner where they had a dehumidifier running. I assume this is where the mold smell was coming from. Walls had weird splatters on them at our table.Food was only ok. Honestly, if we hadn't already paid we would never have eaten. I think I got food positioning as I had a lot of GI pain and then had multiple times in the restroom. DO NOT GO HERE.

My favorite place, I probably come once a week! Buffet for under $14 can't be beat! Nice clean place, it's the same price at dinner. Bomb ass shrimp dish on the dinner buffet!

I used to come here regularly about five years ago. Unfortunately, I cannot give five stars for my recent visit. Food prices have gone up, therefore, I cannot blame them for almost doubling the Buffet price to $12, lunch and dinner being same. However, the service has deteriorated significantly. There is nobody to refill when the item trays get empty. No one cleans tables or removes dirty dishes when the customers leave. Floor is really dirty. The place used to be jam packed but not anymore. I feel sorry for the place that went down so much.

Unfortunately this place is so filthy that we will NEVER go back! The place had something growing in the Soda tray. It was the same temperature inside as outside and it is 95 degrees outside. The owners had all their small children there. It was all very inappropriate. The kids were screaming and fighting while the parents were busy talking. The whole place is a is a nightmare! Don't waste your money!

Nice selection of dishes, could add egg rolls to buffet. Food seems to be on the cooler side. I like my food to be hot. Fresh food is put out for dinner about 4pm, find that's the best time to go.

Really gone downhill the last few years. Too expensive now for the food quality. No egg foo young, no salmon, dried out fish pieces, mediocre crab Rangoon. Shrimp cocktail was not even on ice.

This place is the definition of dont judge a book by its cover. it looks a little scary but the food is good, i wouldn't say it's amazing but it's good. from the one interaction i had with staff they were nice enough. they didn't have a good food selection, the chicken was pretty chewy but the flavor was very good. when my mom walked in she said "this definitely not the #1 chinese buffet" overall i think this place is good for takeout but i prob wouldn't go inside again. the at is a little unwelcoming.
