Awesome breakfast place! The beignets are really good! My party had the eggs Benedict and Fruity Pebbles French toast with a delicious mango smoothie to go. Service was very good and speedy!Decor is cute and fits the menu very well. Overall recommend this spot when in town.

As soon as you walk in a bakery case greets you with a variety of sweet treats including muffins and cookies. While you're waiting for a table you can look at the musical decorations and check out the store that's connected to the restaurant and Community Center. The menu has breakfast and lunch options. From omelettes to biscuits and gravy to the thickest, fluffiest pancakes I have ever seen! I was tempted to try the breakfast taco or quesadilla but went with the 3-egg omelette, home fries and an English muffin! Everything was delicious! We splurged at the end of the meal and tried the beignets! They came with a delicious caramel sauce to dip them in. Can't wait to go back and try a few other things on the menu. All the servers were polite, friendly and quick. The prices were very reasonable and a good for a group or for college students!

I'm not 100% sure about this place. It's very cute inside. Looked nice and clean. The service was a little awkward. Nice, but awkward. The hostess seemed like she was uncomfortable seating us. The servers were very young which in itself isn't an issue. They just seemed very scared and uncomfortable. It took quite a bit of time to get our drinks, and they forgot to bring our to go boxes. They were nice though. The food was really great! The beignets were great. I had the breakfast burrito and a half order of biscuits and gravy. The burrito was very flavorful. The sauce on top really sealed the deal. The diced potatoes on the side were cooked and seasoned well. The biscuits and gravy were pretty good for a restaurant. Homemade is always better though. The WORST part didn't even happen directly to us. Our server was standing next to another worker. Possibly a manger because she was wearing a black polo. Standing at a server station, right in the middle of the restaurant, she started throwing stuff on the ground. Looked like check holders with receipts inside. Multiple of them. Then she proceeded to throw someone's payment card over her shoulder onto the floor. Right in front of everyone. That's really disrespectful, especially to do that with someone's livelihood. Not to mention basically throwing a tantrum in the middle of a restaurant. If you need to do that, go in the back out of the customers' sight. Really awful. I'll consider carry out from here, but probably never dine in again.

We got to North End Cafe at around 9:30am on Saturday morning and that was just in time before the crowds rushed in and it was not long before there was a line of people waiting at the door! This place must be really really loved by the community. First, I love the interior decor! The booths were very cute and the establishment was very clean. For our courses We had corned beef hash (which wasn't the type of hash I was used to, but a little more elevated), eggs benedict, a biscuit and gravy and a mango smoothie! Absolute best sausage gravy on the north side. I'd skip the eggs benedict and corned beef in the future, and go for potatoes and gravy! Mango smoothie was lacking flavor. All in all, loved the ambience and the gravy!

Clean facility and helpful staff, 4.0 stars. Plentiful but bland breakfast plate, 3.0 stars. To be fair the country plate is the blandest item on the menu. I almost got the French toast but I don't do well with that much sugar to start the day. I'll get something with more pizazz next time. The best part of breakfast was the coffee with side of French vanilla creamer. The worst part, the bacon was limp and fatty. Good seating options for small groups, I can see this being a favorite spot for retirees. Overall a nice place. Solid three stars so stop here with confidence.

Great brunch food! The service is always fantastic. So far we haven't ordered anything we didn't like. Has hometown diner feels in the best way -- if you're looking for great breakfast that isn't too fancy and won't break the bank, this is your spot.

My mom and I took a road trip in to Michigan city and decided to make a plan to only go to local places to eat. Stopped off the beaten path and it was WELL worth it. Servers were extremely nice and food was delicious. Highly recommended. We also forgot our credit card on the table and they came out in the rain to give it back to us

Should've looked into more details about the restaurant. Enjoyed almost everything about it except having to listen to a live sermon or something similar being delivered in the next room during my breakfast.

Rude/irritable staff. Asked, and found out that most of their food is pre-made & store bought; including pre-cut, plastic sealed avacado slices. The set up in here feels unorganized and cramped.
