Nine Mile Restaurant

Consistently good food. Love their salads. Big portions, come hungry. Nice parking usually- and no steps for anyone with mobility issues.

On the outskirts of Fort Wayne, this locally legendary establishment boasts a rustic appearance. Despite occasional lengthy wait times due to its modest size and muddy parking lot, the business provides excellent service and food, making it an ideal spot for families. However, the flavors of the dishes we experienced that night were rather unremarkable and lacking in zest unfortunately.

Great food, cozy atmosphere, nice staff. Food is really good. We make a point to stop here whenever we are in the area. This particular visit was disappointing to say the least. Server was off her game,, service was slow, main dishes brought to the table room temp:( they were not busy so not sure what the problem was. Portions were much smaller than past visits, sign of the times.

Solid lil country restaurant - Stopped by Nine Mile for lunch today... Good food, good service, nice place at an affordable price.

We were in Fort Wayne visiting a brother recuperating from surgery and attempted to order a pickup order for three. We used YELP to find a decent place near his home. When I called the phone was answered quickly but the lady who answered yelled at someone that THIS IS AN ORDER. The phone was put down and for the next seven minutes I listened to a background of customers paying and employees talking. No one ever came back to the phone. So I can't comment on food but service by ordering is absolutely UNSATISFACTORY!

My husband and I stopped at this little place on our way back home in Ohio from Michigan. We actually passed it but then husband whipped the vehicle around and said let's try it. Glad we did. He had the Hot Sub and curly fries saying the sandwich had a nice twist on it that I think was red wine vinegar. I had a half order of the Mexicali nachos. The menu didn't mention half or full size but the server asked and glad I had only half. It was filling enough for me for lunch and tasty. The server was quite nice and the service was fast as well during the lunch hour that we were there. They must do a lot of carry out as well we noticed. That says a lot. I would recommend this place just a bit south of I-469 on Rt 27.

The food was great. Nice family style restaurant. The service was friendly and welcoming. Gonna make a point to eat here again.

Nice cozy bar. Good selection of liquor and 8 taps. Had an old fashioned and a Malibu and Diet Pepsi. Diet Coke not here. Looks like they have trivia night. Cheers!

To start out this review of the Nine Mile restaurant, it was our first time ever coming here to eat. It was a busy Sunday night with a full parking lot. However, even though they were busy all of our food came out fast. All of the staff were friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming. All of our food was good especially the fish and the stuffed mushrooms we would definitely come back for. The only disappointment of the entire meal was all 3 soups that came to the table. Two potato soups and one white chicken chili came out cold. Even though they were a little on the cold side, the soups still had solid flavor. But we will be glad to return again to try some more delicious food next time!

Stopped in here while on the road back to Chicago. My breakfast was delicious. The omelette was packed and how could you pass up raisin toast? The sausage patty I requested came to me flame-cooked, so it had a grilled taste, much better than the usual flattop. I was out the door with tip for under $20. Can't wait to come back!
