WOW great food and service!- - - - - - - -September, 2024 VisitWe visited Lafayette / West Lafayette, IN for my uncle's funeral. We drove up on Sunday evening, and as we got closer to town started looking for where to eat dinner.Nine Irish Brothers(, and Five Sisters! as the bar shows - 14 total siblings), in West Lafayette, was the only place still open at 9pm on a SundayANDeven if every other restaurant were still open, I think Nine Irish Brothers and Five Sisters would STILL offer the most fantastic food and service in town... it's that good.(no slight against any other restaurants)He menus says that Guinness themselves proclaimed Nine Irish Brothers and Five Sisters as pouring the finest glass of Guinness in America; I'm not a beer connoisseur, and there are many a beer I do not like, and I can attest that Guinness knows what they are talking about - this is a fine pour, indeed! For food, we enjoyed:- Tim's "Hello" Connemara chicken; the cream sauce was nice!- Brother Jim's Shepherd's Pie- Stormin' Norman's Atlantic SalmonAll of the food was amazing... and the green beans are especially good!- Dinner at Nine Irish Brothers (& Five Irish Sister) - GREAT FOODThank you, all 14 Irish Siblings, and the current staff!---------------

A definite must try place. This is a great place to eat and drink. They do have a large variety of drink to select from and a good sized menu. The food was delicious and the service was awesome: I really appreciate that they do have half sizes of quite a few of their more popular items. The starters are all large enough for sharing. The only downside is parking. The parking lot is small so you may have to carpool or catch an Uber.

Food, ambiance, and service were all great. Irish band was playing while we were there. Everyone enjoyed their food. We'll be back if we're in the area again.

I was in town for the PSU game, staying nearby. I chose to dine here on a Friday night. Of course it had to be a night where there was a big home basketball game. It was busy. Usually being by myself, I can find one seat at a bar/ But, tonight wasn't the case. I had to wait about 30 minutes, which is ok. I was afraid the hostess would forget about me. But she didn't. Once seated, I was tended to right away by a male server. Unfortunately, I didn't get his name. He was great. When taking my food order I asked him if I wanted Sheppard's Pie or the Breaded Tenderloin sandwich. Without hesitation he suggested the tenderloin. And he made a great choice. This was excellent, along with the pub chips. The tenderloin was huge and prepared perfectly. I added some swiss cheese and almost forgot the mayo, until the server suggested it. The pub chips came out really hot and had a perfect crisp. I devoured this whole sandwich. Although the place was 95% Purdue fans watching the basketball game, the atmosphere was great, even for a PSU fan. I would highly recommend.

We went to Nine Irish Brothers for dinner. Unfortunately, the Irish pub fell flat for me,I started with a cup of the red pepper soup, which was good. I had a 1/2 order of the Shepards Pie. Bland. The potatoes to me tasted like box potatoes. Bland. I tried some chips from my wife's fish-n-chips. Bland.I did not have any of the cool looking Guinness drinks. The interior is super cute. There is an outside patio for warm summer nights. Our service was good.

Despite being a college town bar, this is a real and cool Irish pub. The decor is very cool. We dropped in for lunch on a Saturday and were seated immediately. Our server (Piper) was on top of her game, and they got our meal on the table very quickly. We had the Guinness Stew, Shepherds Pie, Bangers & Mash, and Pork Tenderloin. Everyone was very happy with their meal. I thought the pork was a great sandwich.

in this economy a plane ticket to Ireland is out of the question. Next best thing make a stop here walk thru the door and you are transported to an a small Irish village. The decor is spot on a lot of time was taken in the design. The food selection is a great combo of both sides of the sea this please everyone taste buds.

Service was great. Fun restaurant with good vibes. Loved the wings in house sauce. Steak was kind of bland but both the mashed potato & chips were good.

Great atmosphere, excellent food, great live music. We love to stop here on our trips to W Lafayette! Only quibble is the overhead patio heater was too hot.
