Recently participated in a tour of Niemann Harvest Market. I would consider the store as a food destination just as much as a grocery. The farmhouse restaurant has a nice array of food options, with chef's specials each day at reasonable prices. There is a bar area featuring cocktails, wine, and beer. The coffee shop is probably a step up with gourmet drinks and smoothies. The grocery side has everything you expect. You would think that Niemann is more of a premium grocer, but their prices are quite competitive. The store wants to provide a more personal experience to its customers, and it shows when you interact with the employees.I would consider visiting the store from time to time to see what specialty products they have. But more so I would consider coming here for the ready-to-eat options that are actually good.

I wish we had a market like this on the west side of Indy. The salad bar has a little bit of everything on it.The deli looks so good. From prepared dishes to sandwiches and soup. Produce is fresh. A bakery, seafood, and meat department. They have a restaurant called Farmhouse. Coffee bar,ice cream fresh made popcorn. This market is where the old marsh grocery store was.And if you download their app, they have amazing coupon offers. It's worth the trip I try to go every week. The employees have been super helpful and they have the cutest little grocery carts for kids.

I am absolutely obsessed with this grocery store. I am not a fan of grocery shopping, but the experience here makes it worth it. When you enter, there is a small section where you can order a caffeinated beverage to kick start your shopping trip. Then you can pick up some fresh flowers or stop by the premade food buffet / section. Next you have the fresh produce, alcohol, meats, and finally your typical packaged food aisles. I love that the produce section looks clean/nice, and everything is super organized. They also have signs to tell you where the produce is from! It's like an indoor farmers market!!Checking out is easy and efficient. They have really great self check out machines. I never thought it would be possible to be obsessed with a grocery store but this place is definitely a favorite!

Lovely grocery store in Carmel (off 116th & Keystone in the same front lot near Mellow Mushroom.) So plenty of parking. They just opened in May, everything is clean and beautiful. Staff were super friendly. If you're hungry, there are salad, sushi, and sandwhich bars, plus the Farmhouse Restaurant (see my separate review & pics for that - yum!) To shop, there is a large variety of fresh fruits, cheeses, meats, seafood, wines .... a big selection of everything. We went to go for lunch and ended up getting cider, honeycrisp apples, brie, fresh local chocolate milk, and a bunch of other goodies. #ReviewsByRL

There's a new grocery store in Carmel! Niemann Harvest Market is located in the Merchants Square shopping center, where the old Marsh grocery store used to be. The thing that I noticed right away about this grocery store is that there are a lot of local products and produce. Some of the fruits and vegetables were sourced from farms around Indiana and the Midwest, and those have signs on them that says which farm they came from. That's a nice touch! I like knowing where my food is sourced. They also sell lots of Indiana-made items, like local honey, local popcorn, local snacks and other goodies.A super unique thing about this grocery store is that they offer house-churned butter, and there's actually a space at the back of the store where you can see the magic happen. When the "Now Churning" light is on, look into the window, and you'll see a person kneading and squeezing and churning butter. It's pretty neat. At the front of the store is a coffee shop, as well as a "farm-stand treat" counter with fresh popcorn, cotton candy, several flavors of hand-dipped ice cream and fudge. There's also a restaurant inside the grocery store -- it's set off to the side, with its own seating. There's lots of space to sit and lounge.Niemann Harvest Market also has a great bourbon selection, according to a bourbon-loving source. Apparently, there was a bottle of bourbon that is rare, and it's sitting on the shelves at a great price! So go get you some bourbon, if you're into that.Speaking of prices: The prices here are about what you'd expect for an elevated Carmel grocery store. They're not the cheapest, but there are deals to be had here and there.

I explored this new grocery store. At first, items seemed pricy, but I discovered a few deals for anyone to purchase at sale price. I found items that I have not seen elsewhere. I bought a few different Solely single-serve fruity items. Fresh cherries on sale for $2/lb. Oh, they have a deli/restaurant so I bought a daily Asian entree of sweet Thai chicken tenders with sides of roasted potatoes and mac & cheese with would include cornbread; tasty but a little pricey.I saw unique, inexpensive macarons which I plan to return to purchase.

What a fun, satisfying grocery experience. I didn't get the chance to check out the restaurant today, but did check out the ice cream shop! The deli area (hot and cold) and salad bar was amply stocked with a healthy variety of choices. I appreciate the fresh bakery and cheeses, as well as the olive bar. The produce offered an interesting variety, just enough to be exotic and plenty that were regular purchases. The hummus was delicious and I enjoyed the convenience chopped and people food selections. I'm sure I'll have a ton more to add on my next few trips.
