Near North Farmers Market

I thought I had written a review about this charming new Farmers Market after my initial visit a few months back. This is a great addition to the Herron Morton neighborhood and neighboring areas like Old Northside and Kennedy King. What to expect?This is a small, newer farmers market with around ten local vendors ranging from mini massages and produce to BBQ and coffee. The beauty of this market is its small, kid-friendly park setting that features playground equipment, bike parking and plenty of shade. The market is every Saturday through the summer months and easy to spot on Alabama St. (which is conveniently a very bike-friendly street). The Near North Farmers Market is open from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturdays in June through September. The market is in its second year of running. Can't wait to watch this little cutie grow!
