Great local food, great staff, sometimes a long wait. I try something new almost every time I come here and it's always delicious. The ambience is nothing too fancy but still a nice place to go.

Food is good and consistent, chicken overcooked and somewhat dry lots of good butter sauce that blended the flavors well. Cannelloni Genovese was the best dish in the group.

BEHOLD, an Italian gem hidden in Beech Grove. I went in here on a random week night. The place was somewhat busy and we were greeted immediately. Wow what a place! The ambiance is a pleasant surprise. What else can I say? The service was fantastic and our waitress was very courteous. The food was phenomenal. When I originally saw the place online, I almost passed on it. Originally, I was saying to not go there and "oh this place looks like a dump, right?" WRONG! Everything seemed homemade and tasted amazing. I enjoyed everything I ordered. However, LOVED my cannoli as well as my toasted ravioli. DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS PLACE. This place has some outstanding food. The food here is plated exceptionally well and doesn't let you down with it's flavor.

The server was friendly as were all of the employees. Had the spaghetti with meatballs, taste was 4 out of 5 stars. Reason for my 3 star rating, the red sauce had a ton of water! I drained off a small plate of red water, unacceptable for a real Italian restaurant. It's a shame though, prefer to dine at a local place than some Olive Garden.

Really top notch traditional Italian fare with SOOooo many choices. In two recent visits I had 2 dishes on which I evaluate Italian ristorantes - the Linguine Vongole - teeming with bits & bites of succulent clams in a savory white wine sauce with al dente pasta and the intensely flavorful bolognese & cheese layered Lasagne. Each time I had a half antipasto salad with the house dressing. We were a party of 12 each time and were well taken care of on a popular Wednesday evening (half price bottles of wine from a well priced and good quality wine list) where rain closed the outdoor dining.

Wanted to love this place. Close by. Great reviews. Hoping for a new go to place for Italian food. Service. Excellent. Food. Total face plant. Toasted ravioli. Pre made. Frozen. Then reheated it. Clear from the over cooked outside. And literally frozen inside. Middle was frozen. Pasta entree was raw. Dough. Wife got the shrimp dish. Said it tasted wrong. Service is a 4 star. Waitress was a five star. Bartender couldn't make a classics cocktail. We will not be back. I understand where neighborhood people go to a local place out of nostalgia . But this place has fallen from its glory days.

Great experience as usual. Some of the best Italian food in Indianapolis. And the service was great. Definitely a hidden gem located in downtown Beech Grove. No traffic issues there either, and easy free parking on the street nearby.

Honestly a poor choice. Everything looked good walking in but after ordering drinks it took over 20 minutes to get them because the bartender did not know how to make a Long Island. Waiter was young, so I'm giving him a pass. The house salad was only a bowl of room temperature iceburg lettuce with 5 onion rings on top. Ordered an Italian sub and it came with 3 ingredients, one of which (the salami) was burnt black. The Manicotti was microwaved. The fried ravioli was okay. Everything felt very low budget and low quality, in general. Gave it a shot but will not return. I would not suggest going.
