Nana's Daylight Donuts

This is a hard working lady's shop & she is always trying her best every time we're in there. The shop is very clean and stocked well. Donuts here are far better than any others around here! They're our family's favorite.

This is a cute little donut shop in Greenwood. The staff there is very friendly here. They have a few tables inside the shop that you can sit at and enjoy your treat. They also have a drive-thru window where you can order your treats and get them without getting out of your car. There is ample parking available in the strip mall parking lot that it shares with other businesses. The shop is very neat and clean. Their donuts are reasonably priced. In addition to donuts, they have coffee and espresso and shirts.I had two issues with the shop. They do not have a large selection of donuts, at least while I was there. I got a half dozen and a cherry fritter. My main issue however, was that the donuts and fritter were not very fresh. Some of them were a bit harder than I normally get at other donut joints. The donuts were ok, but a telltale sign was that the donuts lasted for a couple of days in my house. That never happens.I had high hopes for this place. I really wanted to like it more, especially since I had a bit of a drive to get here. I may have caught them on an off day.

Stopped in to get wife and daughter doughnuts and saw a sign that said "World's best biscuits and gravey". Well I had to try and they do stand up as one of the best I've had anywhere. Nice creamy and flavorful. Even my daughter who doesn't like biscuits and gravy is earing it.

Stopped here completely by accident on a road trip and the front counter lady was very nice. I mean we know typically Daylight Donuts's are good but the customer service here was excellent. We often travel from Atlanta to Chicago and surely have added this place as a stop. Thanks for the hospitality and inviting vibes!

I found this cute little donut shop on a Facebook ad. I saw that they had a s'mores donut, and that's what sold me. The Facebook ad showed the marshmallow toasted, and that's what I was the most excited for. Unfortunately when I got there, none of the marshmallows were toasted. Other than that, the donuts were still decent and I loved all the cute shapes and colors they had for Valentine's Day. I might just need to go back on another day.

Just happened to see this little corner donut shop across from the gas station where we scored some cheaper gas.Since it was noon, I didn't have high hopes there would be much variety left. Rarely have I met a donut I wasn't willing to eat...I forged ahead.They have a drive thru but I am glad I decided to go in. They had donut hole samples...so yay!The young people manning the counter were so pleasant and seemed to actually "like" working. You don't see THAT real often!Although they were out of a few varieties I would have loved to try, what we did get did not disappoint. Banana custard filled was the long shot and if the filling would have actually been more of a Holland cream, I would probably be in everlasting bliss about now..lolAll the yeast and cake donuts were very fresh and delightful. This spot will be pinned on my map for future trips to Indy.

My first time at daylight donuts, they were very short on help (which I understand happens) the problem was they had a line in the store and anytime someone pulled up to the drive through they served them while we were all waiting. They should've shut down the drive through for the day. There was only one person taking orders and filling them. My wait was about 45 minutes. Their donuts were good. I'm not sure if I will go back though.

Since covid hit, I've made a point to grab donuts for the kids, wife and I every week because donuts put smiles on faces. It is statistically proven.Onto the meat... err, donuts The staff was super friendly and patient while my kids picked out their donut. The shop was super clean. They had a variety of donuts from glazed, chocolate cake, dinosaur sprinkle and their one of a kind pine cone.We could some white frosted with sprinkles, chocolate with sprinkles, pine cone, chocolate cake and donut holes. All had great flavor.The donut holes had a bit of crisp on the outside which I really liked. The inside was moist, soft and full of flavor. I almost got a little vanilla hint, really yummy.The pine cone.. really cool looking with sugar, cinnamon and easy to pull apart. I enjoyed it and will be back...In my best Homer Simpson voice... yummmm, donuts

Very good donuts here. Nice lady working all by herself. How about getting someone to help her. You might double your revenue. And it shouldn't take 20 minutes to buy 2 donuts.

This place is close to my parents and I love stopping in and getting a dozen donuts for all of us to share... they have so many options, they are bound to have your favorite! From glaze to cake donuts, to fun icings and toppings on others, jelly filled, and so much more! Staff is always patient and friendly. And there is a drive through! I will add all the pictures I have of some of the options we've had over the last trip!
