A hidden stop along our route for the day.Here you'll find various fresh meats and sauces as well as local favorites. Everyone was friendly. We ordered chicken and dumplings which were very good and reminded me of a soup I had as a child.There is a seating area separate from the meat shop and it's a quiet spot to just catch your breath.

Nice place to grab a well made sandwich. We stopped in for lunch today and the staff were very attentive and quick. The fire smoked ham was on special and it was delicious. We also had a pastrami sandwich it that was also great. We also picked up a few groceries, there is a small selection but it was quality stuff. The meats looked great but we could pick any up as we were on the road.

This business is a combo of small market, butcher shop, and deli with dine in seating. The west end of the shop is devoted to a seating area while the east end is filled with displays of local products including canned items (jellies etc.) and candies. They also have some fresh bread and baked items.The left side of the market has the meats and cheeses available to order. They had several folks working behind the counter to be able to keep up with the customers. I had already eaten before stopping in here to shop, so I passed on getting a sandwich or soup. I find it quite ingenious to offer lunch meals as a way to supplement the market when a lot of folks don't have the devices necessary to keep meats fresh in their offices if they shop at lunch. Maybe seeing the counters full of great looking options may bring them back for a purchase before dinner.Review #3628

Great small specialty food & meat market in Greencastle - excellent assortment of fun food n beverages esp deli and meats. Grabbed some triple dipped pumpkin spice flavored malted milk balls- yum!

The meat is good. Best deli meat in town. It is just a shame they don't have someone in there who knows how to slice it. I like my pastrami shaved, they chip it. I like my bologna sliced for a sandwich, medium, they shave it. I would buy allot more if someone worked in deli, and knew how to slice the meat as you order it.
