My Yellow Rickshaw

The guys who make up My Yellow Rickshaw are just plan awesome. We love following them around the greater Indianapolis area with their enthusiasm and excitement that ensures a good time had by all! The cover a plethora of songs from all decades, mostly today's hits but they venture back to the late 90's every now and again. The band is big on audience involvement and have a wheel for a randomly selected person to spin and receive some sort of prize (which can be a middle school slow dance or a Fabio work out VHS tape... the possibilities are endless). The lead singer play wicked violin so they through in some Irish folk songs every once in a while and he will meander through the crowd. They plan tons of private events, mostly weddings, and they even played for a private party for the Giants during SuperBowl XLVI! We wanted them so badly for our wedding but they were very booked. And the guys are so great they really tried to make it work for us but we just couldn't swing it.They play all over town: Brockway in Carmel, Ale Emporium in Castleton, Wolfies in Carmel, Mo's Irish Pub in Noblesville, Stacked Pickle in Fishers and a variety of downtown locations.Check out their webstie for song lists & upcoming events!

MYR was the hired band at a wedding I attended last night. WOW is all I can say! My feet still hurt from dancing all night to their music! These guys were the best i've ever heard at a wedding and deserve this review!! Great song variety, from country, to rap, from pop to rock! Go see MYR...you wont be disappointed!
